      His job is to gather fish for others to eat , and is working under a Commercial License so his supplier wants him to get Gags 1st . Then whatever else he has time for but he seldom shoots any Snapper unless he sees a really big one . The Gags and other Grouper will leave the area quickly when the shooting starts ( except for STUPID Red Grouper ) so he has to be selective in a crowd to get what Gags he can before they disappear . Sometimes his team will stick around after a dive and use poles to get some Red Snapper .

    How many weeks in the year are you able to spearfish? I don't know the seasons.
    All the systems are so tight, the boat, tanks, gun etc. Pro's I've always used a tethered spear, at many of your depths, I'd only be getting 1 fish per dive, I love your fast and smooth setup, I'm not a good enough shot to use it though, lol

Why was the boat so damn far away, what happened to his fish, and did he have to shoot one of the sharks?

    What beautiful school of the "endangered red snapper". It always amazes me how many you encounter on a lot of your dives. Just how deep is a shallow dive to you.....What was Mike pointing out to you and why do you guys use only one rubber. I see that you have a spare one on the under belly of your guns in case one lets go..Be safe...WT

    • @guacaquio
      @guacaquio 3 года назад

      I think the 1% eat them and they don't want the rest of us to enjoy them, the same thing goes with the sea turtles, there are millions and millions everywhere and they want us to believe they are "endangered"

    • @daveobsoleteammo4547
      @daveobsoleteammo4547 2 года назад

      A shallow dive to him is using only one tank ( so normally 120 feet or less ) .

    • @daveobsoleteammo4547
      @daveobsoleteammo4547 Год назад

      He has had time issues getting ready for the next shot when using the 2 rubber system , and so he prefers the single but thicker rubber .

    Why is your gauge/computer console unsecured dragging behind you? Are you concerned that it will get caught in a rock or something and cause damage to the console or the hose? It should be attached to a d'ring on your bc with a bolt snap or bungee close to your body. Also, why don't you use a wrist dive computer so you don't have to lock for the console, it will be right there on your wrist and you can glance quickly at the wrist computer and see all the information you need to see while doing what you do underwater. A wrist dive computer will be much easier to track especially when you are making your ascent and have to watch your ascent rate while taking care of the gun, fish, etc.
    A wrist computer with air integration will be the best with all information including your air pressure right there in front of you without being obtrusive or catching on something during the dive. I have been using air integrated wrist dive computers for about 20 years now and it is far better than a gauge console especially when spearfishing or doing u/w photography.
