Typically I use whatever cotton thread I have laying around- preferable in whites (in case of color leaking). I do suggest something a little thicker like perle cotton 5 or size 8 or embroidery floss. Sewing thread is very thin and in my experience can unravel the canvas too much.
Fabulous instructions without using glue! Thanks!
I just finished my first project with the help of this video. Thanks so much. It was very easy to follow and well done.
Great instructions, and love your stitched piece!
Thank you for all your wonderful videos
This is incredibly helpful! Thank you!
what kind of backing board do you use?
What type of board do you recommend?
How do you lace a "round" needlepoint ornament?
Do you lace the fabric back of the needlepoint canvas in the same order as you do the stitched front?
Yes! If it seems smaller than the front, then ill wrap some of the batting around too!
Are you using a special sewing thread?
