I got into the slot car drag racing and its awesome! This is another level of kool I didn't know existed! Throwing out some names 3 Phase, single phase, Locked Rotor, Full Load Amps, Burnt Windings😂😂😂
These tracks are built in 4x8 sections, 5 sections per track for a 40ft pulling surface, have to leave room for the sled and pull off, a full pull is 30ft. For our events at this hotel we unload the track sections off of trailers and move them inside and break up the dirt and mix and pack it for the weekend. We had over 1500 hooks in 2 days and while track maintenance is important we don’t have time to get every little bump out between classes as all of this is volunteer work
All that I can do is to sit, smile, and watch it over and over

I'm guessing bolting carbide tooling inserts to the tires so they could dig into the concrete below would be a rule breaker?
Yes we have specific tire rules for the classes and specs in the index of the rule book, like no paddle tires
