I can vouch for the ventrac tractor with the brush and snowblower, the brush is terrible and messy on anything over an inch and the snowblower is super knarly on deep snow but will never ever ever scrape the ground clean most times I’d have to shovel after so everything doesn’t freeze. Fun tool to use better than a walk behind blower but ultimately a pain to complete a clean job. From Wisconsin
I've got a JD x595 with a 54" inch blade & a 47" snowblower. I'm 30 miles west of Boston, so as far as the weather goes for me; it's a true roll of the 🎲 dice 🎲 each Fall. A majority of the 🌨️ snow 🌨️ we get is "dry", so the blower performs + some. Wet? Mmmmm not quite as well 🤔 ☹️. Too cold to do change out when the wet stuff arrives. Plan to buy a Kubota RTV x1200c with a snowblower & put the blade on the x595 for the wet snow. Also will add rear tire weights on the Deere, to make it that much more efficient when we get the wet ❄️🌨️ snow ❄️🌨️ in quantity. Tractor is powered by a 24 hp Yanmar diesel. The Kubota has right around the same diesel hp. When the oil truck comes; he'll soon be filling up both machines.

I like the robot one. I have a Toro electric shovel similar to the blue one here. I gotta say that they shouldn't be underestimated. Some of them are overpriced however.
I had one, but the cord was a pain. I found a similar head that fit on my weed eater motor. Much better, stopped using the Toro.
I had the Toro also and I agree. It's actually got a fair amount of power and can handle more snow than I expected. One big downside is that it can only blow the snow straight ahead so sometimes you have to get creative about which angle you want to approach the snow from. And as mentioned, the cord can be a nuisance sometimes. But it's very effective and honestly it can pretty fun to use.
@@firstnamelastname2552 Mine has a steerable exit chute. I don't mind electric. You always have fuel for it at the outlet, and it always starts.
My wife does it now and it's easy enough for her. I'm banned from winter exertion.

i wonder, if there is a mchine that will collect the snow, compress it, extrude it and cut into rectangular blocks. Compressed snow takes less space to store. and may be used for winter fun, building pyramids, castles, labyrinths. And in places with long windy cold winter, you can make even a snow wall to stop the wind blowing your house directly. finally, you can build your own magic wall, as in the game of thrones...

Most of these “toys” won’t hold a candle to the snow here in Canada. We use full size heavy equipment for most jobs. Some of these may clean sidewalks or driveways. Mostly humorous gimmicks to be sure. Lol smh

Where are the walk behind snow blowers that 1/2 of Northern America has in their garages??? All I see here are gadgets??? I live on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe elevation 6,500 ft and many storms I have to clear my driveway FOUR times a day removing 2 feet of snow each time!! My Troy Bilt 24 inch wide two stage snow blower can clear 950 sq ft of 2 foot of snow in 60 to 70 minutes!! So 6:30 am, 11 am, 4 pm and 8:30 pm to stay ahead! Let me know of a machine that can remove 8 plus feet of snow and fit alongside my Tacoma in my garage??????

That little shovel would be great for clearing off steps and stuff I bet.
Whenever they show the rotary broom the snow is like a half inch thick. The Snowblower is only shown moving dry lightweight snow, never heavey slush laden with salt. Any machine can easily move that kind of snow, so not really impressive at all. Buy a HONDA when you have serious snow to move, the kind that stops low energy machines.
Those Ventracs have about 30 hp, I use one for snow removal myself, and it does it with no problem.
