Headwinds Ahead For Private Equity In Medicine

I have not sold out to PE and have no plans to do so. However, more groups are struggling with higher debt burdens forcing some ER groups to file bankruptcy or even some radiology groups to have talks about possible bankruptcy in the future.

I don't feel bad for the physicians who sold to PE. You are getting paid off of the back of your younger colleagues.

I agree. I also the sadness there must be to see the business you started pulled out from under you. However, when a physician sells out to PE, they know (or should know) what they are getting themselves into and the consequences that can follow.

@@InvestingDoc They will fight tooth and nail on social media that they made the right decision only to be met with the cruel reality of how these firms operate.

Yeah I’m not sure how to feel either but I do know that a radiology group trying to make it in this day is ambitious. AI is getting pretty good… lol
