My check ride is next Saturday. I’ve been training for a year and sooo ready to get it over with. I pray I pass! I will continue to listen to your book every day… it’s been very helpful!
Good luck. I’m sure you will do well. I did mine 30 years ago. I had more trouble with emergency procedures. The examiner had a small asphalt runway right below me and I never checked right below me. I was aiming for a crappy field. Then we did a few other procedures and he put me in unusual attitude again and pulled the power . I looked for a good landing spot and again I failed. The darn runway was right below again. Never saw it. So make sure you check every option for your safe landing area. I did get my certification that day but after all of that , I felt about an inch tall. By far , the most exhilarating rush that I ever had while training was when I first soloed. Again Good Luck.
@@tnflygirl Congratulations to you❤️❤️❤️ My examiner wanted me to transition into IFR and also brush up on my emergency procedures, but I just had alittle fun flying after I got my private pilot certification and ran out of money and enthusiasm.I have been studying for my biannual and hoping to get myself current again. It’s been 30 years. RUclips has opened my eyes of what I have experienced in life of flying and going for it once more……Again Congratulations to you and Thank You for being part of the boost I need to make it happen ❤️❤️❤️
I passed today!!! Thank you for your book that I listened to about 30 times lol. I look forward taking your IFR classes next after I take a short break from studying. :)
I've never heard that trick for remembering the difference between Vx and Vy. What I've always used is : x is before y and 'A' for angle is before 'R' for rate, so Vx=angle and Vy=rate
I would argue about the flaps. Plain flaps increase the camber of the airfoil but don't increase its surface area. Fowler flaps, on the other hand, increase both camber and surface area. You're not likely to find Fowler flaps on training aircraft.

Hope you do well. Be well rested and try not to review too much the day before. 🙂

Excellent Jason. Thank You.
Love this content! Thank you. Yes I have your book in paper and Audible. ;-)

I got all questions right!

Read this audio book too many times to count
