Macallens are very fit for ageing, for experiencing very old whiskies, I'd recommend to find special bars where you can sample them. I remember that over twenty years ago a Japanese business partner treated me to an even older one (than a 1964) at the bar of the Waldhaus in St Moritz. (shots are usually around 200-500+$/sf/€, I'd recommend to order doubles and politely ask for a discount for top enjoyment)
