Basically, I just flopped onto my back on my bed, positioned the phone I was watching this on face-down behind my head with a few layers of fluffy blankets (not sheets, I mean) as a buffer, covered my head with more blankets up to my forehead (and over my eyes, I think) with walls caving around the sides of my face and ~3/4 of an inch of air around my ears to mimick those of headphones (larger space however, as specified), and got a sound quality that was, suprisingly, almost half-effective and surround-sound-like(ish). Or, to put it slightly more consisely,
just better quality sound. The effect got better when blocking out the escape of some noise produced by adding more blanket layers, but that was the best I could get it before my interest died.
