- Baramulla का चुनाव 2024 के लिए ऐतिहासिक माना जाएगा। विधानसभा चुनाव 2024 #jammukashmirelections2024 में भी बारामूला चर्चा में है और कुछ महीने पहले आयोजित हुए लोकसभा चुनाव में तो Baramulla लोकसभा सीट देश की सर्वाधिक चर्चित सीटों में से एक थी। वजह थी, इंजीनियर रशीद। टेरर फंडिंग के एक मामले में 2019 से तिहाड़ तेज में बंद इंजीनियर रशीद ने तिहाड़ जेल से ही लोकसभा चुनाव जीत लिया था। दूसरी बड़ी बात उन्होंने बारामूला से जिसे हराया वो कोई कोई सामान्य नेता नहीं था, बल्कि पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री उमर अब्दुल्ला को हराया था।
