You missed a lot of pretty basic info here: - Pops can be pickaxed as they roll at you pretty easily if timed well but take 2 light bullets to kill - Burners can be shot with 3 medium ammo which will break armour and then kill - Surveyors can be killed by 2 seeker grenade when open. Just throw 2 quickly. - Comets are taken down easily with fast firing weapons - its more of an amount of bullets rather than individual bullet damage. When it opens shoot the inside too for big dmg - Shredders - what you said is crazy. Shoot the 3 blue engines, not centre mass - Firefly - when they get aggro'd and the flame turret sticks out the bottom, shoot the yellow cannister which will explode and cover it in fire - Leapers - Eye yes, but the shoulders are just as effective - Bastions also have a disk on the top which you can shoot off and and then damage the core if you have high ground.
the thrusters are much smaller and only offer 20% bonus weak point damage. You can miss more shots aiming for the weak point which could be less efficient then dumping in the body
@meechtree5795but they literally pause and sit there and wait for you to shoot them before and after shooting. Any kind of vertical cover though the best is a pillar is the shredders greatest weakness. Just pop them when they aren't shooting when they charge you and charge up their shot, just duck back behind the cover.
im going to rephrase my comment to say that the body i’m describing is the unarmored part at the bottom where the thrusters attach. Any weapon with competitive times (not an osprey) to kill the shredder it’s better to take the body shots than risk the missed damage from trying to hit a 20% bonus damage weak point. The bonus is not enough to change much and the time it takes you to hit that weak spot enough times to kill, i wager you could mag dump the unarmed body more comfortably and more reliably.
The utility tool ironically is chronically underutilized lol it's 3-4 swings TOPS to drop all shield types, with the survival perk tree perks can add extremely useful buffs (I reckon everyone mains mobility as default at least initially) mixed with stamina buffs from the mobility tree and if I'm in closing distance, ohhh buddy out comes my hockey stick. The complete damage negation from pops felt like I discovered an exploit when I tried it first starting out lmao
I think I have the worst luck with the hullcracker, I hit a firefly twice with one and it still didn't kill it, I got burned to death and lost the hullcracker.
One of my most hilarious Rocketeer encounters was in the aftermath of a Queen fight, 2 Showstoppers managed to completely turtle the thing on its back on the ground and it simply couldn't right itself. Was funny as hell watching the lobby absolutely unload on this grounded Rocketeer while some of them where calling for a defib to get me back on my feet. (which someone did)
If you shoot the right side plates off the Matriach, she has openings that a Raider can (zipgun) climb inside of and remain shielded from outside fire, with direct access to her core. With a rapid fire weapon, you can very quickly burn her down. If you get access to this spot, it is my recommendation that you shoot her instead of using assets like deadmines, as getting in there isnt exactly easy, but once there, you are completely insulated from the arc's efforts to hurt you, either from the additional ark summoned, or her herself.
The fact that you didn't bring up the Bettina along with the anvil and ferro when talking about the matriarch further illustrates the problem that apparently no one knows how to use the Bettina properly. There is no better weapon in the game for efficiently taking the armor off of queens and matriarchs than a Bettina except the equalizer.
Further illustrates? Further than what? I feel like most ppl know this, especially viewers of Arc Raiders RUclipsrs like The Gaming Merchant who has hammered it home in so many videos. I don't know why this dude shouted out TGM for an outdated Rocketeer method but not other basic things like this and targeting shredder thrusters
@M4W3L That's not the case at all. The vast majority of players only talk about how ineffective the Bettina is for pvp and how it chews through ammo for such low performance, both of which are true. It's rare that anyone even mentions the arc armor capabilities of the Bettina. I would never take an anvil in to farm queen or matriarch cores but I take a Bettina 4 every time.
@VSUeric I understand what you're saying about the gun and I completely agree, I know full well how much it tears queen/matriarch armor to shreds. I'm just disagreeing with the point that no one knows about it - TGM is one of the biggest Arc content creators and he has made several videos specifically about how good the bettina is for PvE and farming queen/matriarch cores, and mentioned/showcased this in many more videos. Anyone that watches him knows how good the gun is for PvE, and as I said, he's one of the most popular Arc creators. This guy just missed a bunch of basic common knowledge stuff - he didn't even mention shooting the thrusters in the shredder section, and reckons it's impossible to kill a snitch with one seeker but totally consistent to kill a rocketeer with one wolfpack etc
I'm surprised nobody is mentioning the weak point in the middle of the comet, if it rolls towards you 3-4 shots in the middle will take it down and you also get to collect that comet part for deadlines
5:35 carry a Lure Grenade in case there's no cover, they will always kill themselves for it! I've taken three out with one. They'll even damage other arc near by.
Small note on the pop, you can actually melee it with your raider tool before it explodes and it will die without damaging you. Very nice in buildings or when you're running empty kits (very fun btw if you've never done it)
With pops, the easiest way to dogde them is actually wait until they're close, then run PAST them and dodge roll, they have momentum and keep on rolling for a short period of time before they pop, so it's a much more forgiving way to dodge the explosion. You can also kill rocketeers from a distance with an osprey.
I personally recommend the il Toro for the shredders, it knocks the back, does alot of damage to the body and you get more shells and repair parts back than you invested
one way I deal with leapers in duos is either me or my teammate brings showstopper grenades and the other brings a deadline. After the leaper uses its pulse, the player with the showstoppers throws one at its eye. Then, the other will place a deadline on its eye and boom free leaper kill.
@nejyz Yeah I know. It's just an easy way to kill them because you don't need to shoot it for 5 minutes and attract other arc/raiders to you. I didn't mean free as in cheap it's just easier. It's only really good for if you have expendable resources and need the units for your projects and stuff. Plus Comets are SUPER easy to kill. I've killed them before with 4 good anvil shots.
As for showstoppers I don't usually craft them. I find them in grenade bags. If you can't craft them you can always use the poor mans version. Hornet drivers are a great substitute. Edit: Just checked the recipe and it's really cheap. Idk what you mean by most expensive.
@QuacksifyyOfficialfair enough. Very effective but costly. I guess that’s the name of the game after this new update. Put a silencer 1 on that anvil. Always silence your arc weapons so you don’t attract other arc or raiders. Happy raiding!
for the firefly, just choose a side, left or right and shoot slightly abouve the arour as it comes for you, it somehow hits the propellers without hitting the armour, something about the firefly tilting forward as it comes for you, super easy to take down.
So cool! I just love your channel since I started playing ARC!! SO congrats man. Now is it just me or is the ARC harder to fool since the new update? They seem more daring, entering building a little bit more (wasp and hornet for instance) and since the maps seems to have changed a little (like no more building with doors where there was one etc) I find it a lot more difficult right now... suppose it is just something to get used to... Take care and continue the great work!
Pop tip: if it’s rushing you, play chicken and rush it head on (and keep running past it). It seems to create enough distance as it flys past you that you don’t actually take hit damage when it blows up. Obviously not possible in tight spaces or adjacent paths
Pops can easily be destroyed a 3rd way using the raider tool. Since they navigate in straight lines, upon approach you just need to turn a corner and the pop will have to stop before moving in a straight line in the new direction you went. That leaves an opening for your melee before it starts in the new direction
4:40 you can kill them in one shot if you wait till they open and transmitting a beam to throw a seeker grenade it will kill it as long as it hits it while opened up
You can bait a shredder. I threw two trigger nades on the ground in front of a did I could close. Got it to aggro on me. Shut the door when it got there and then blew up the triggers. Worked like a charm. Could probably use snap blasts but timing is importantly
when a pop is charging straight at you, you can run at it and sprint dodge past it when it gets to you and its momentum will carry it past you when it blows it. you can also 1 hit melee them and they don't deal damage when they explode if they are killed rather then blowing themselves up
There's going to be another threat and the raiders and arc will team up. Maybe make it an eldritch horror, they could reskin matriarchs into lurking beasts and put looming horrors in the sky.
Solution for the snitch is one seeker plus a couple bullets. I personally use the anvil to take out a rotor and draw agro, and then a seeker when it gets close
i like using an arpeggio 4 for a shredder or 3-4 seeker grenades. also leapers? blaze grenades still fuck them up as long as you hit the eye with it. Rocketeer can go down in about 10-15 seeker grenades but also hornet drivers
The best way I've found to get rid of a Surveyor is to tag it with two snap blasts (you can throw 2 easily if you sneak up, but after that it usually starts moving so I don't recommend trying for the third). This blows off a bunch of plates, so you can kill it with a bit of extra gunfire. Similarly for the Comet, a snap blast stick and a little extra gunfire will usually put it down. And worth noting, you do need to kill it this way if you want the actual good loot from it, since the center piece containing the Igniter and Explosive Compound won't spawn if it gets its explosion attack off. As for the Queen and Matriarch, the Wolfpacks are kind of wasted on them, since they will just hit random pieces of the outer shell and not the actual weak spots that deal decent health damage.
i would HIGHLY recommend to use a hornet drivers if u dont have wolfpack nades. just jug it at it and it dies most of the times when they hit the ground or just shoot the turbines. most of the time i just need 2-3 shots after it hit the ground
In addition to using a hullcracker, if you bring in a torrente and have the ammo to spare it absolutely shreds them as long as you spot them before they get you.
Same with Hornets too, if you can get the throw behind them you can often one shot them. If it come from the side or front though it hits all that armor instead
Something that helps me out a lot that I see people not using is the cloak. The cloak will literally make any arc go "must've been the wind" even if they were trying to kill you. I use the cloak to casually get behind bastions/bombs to deadline them, and also makes solo harvester plays very easy. For those in a pvp scenario, there have been times where I load my character with snitch/lure nades, pop them on any players chasing me, and use the cloak to mask myself and get away while arcs deal with them. However, this doesnt always work out if players are very close to you edit: also, another way to take on the comet has to do with their exposed core the moment they start to charge at you. When they get ready to charge, they split themselves a bit at the center and their core is exposed. Accurately shoot it do destroy them, but if you miss, then rip. Seeker nades also help. I think 2 is enough to destroy them, especially if they are exposed
Hornet Drivers also help in taking down a rocketeer if it doesn't take it out entirely. Just have to be at an elevation above the rocketeer to give yourself the best chance at hitting it.
Hornet drivers thrown above the Rocketeer, will bring them down to the ground. The driver will also outright destroy two of Rocketeers turbines and kill it with one well-aimed throw. You need about 20 meters of distance and I've found success throwing from the side angle. At least for now, (before what I suspect will be a nerf) it is an extremely efficient way of bringing down those bastards.
There is another way to deal with wasps. If you're using the Ferro and you have a wasp's back against a wall or a build, aim for the center to knock them into the wall. 8/10 times this tends to immediately kill em. Its a bit more situational but is good for farming. Any object works too, buildings are just easier. I don't know if using the anvil is the same effect so I would test it.
If you keep distance between yourself and rocketeer over 80m it wont speed attack it slowly hovers to close the gap, but you keep backing off keeping 80m, very useful to take it out with ferro or ospray
One seeker grenade is all it takes to kill a snitch and wasp most of the time. But, sometimes for both wasps and snitches, it will take two. It depends on the angle it hits.
One thing I’ve seen another RUclipsr do is use a wasp core against a rocketeer. Throw it at the front and above it so it hits two engines and it should crash to the ground. I needed two-three probably because the main body got hit but it does a lot of damage when it crashes into stuff
Cya tomorrow on stream for the Marathon Server Slam Btw, 1pmET 🫡
Hope it’s much fun and see you in there!
Off topic but I just found someone free booting your content in RUclips shorts. Viper(underscore)Gaming(underscore)86
I hope you can strike them down
@Technizorgood looks
Love your stuff, but I m o please stop saying I m o
For snitches, shoot once THEN throw a seeker. Works with an anvil, every time 👍🏼
You missed a lot of pretty basic info here:
- Pops can be pickaxed as they roll at you pretty easily if timed well but take 2 light bullets to kill
- Burners can be shot with 3 medium ammo which will break armour and then kill

Thank you for the excellent info!
Yea i was like wtf. Just the blue engines. 😂
Woah wise guy here
Soon as I saw that shredder part I immediately went to the comments 😹😹. This guy is not pro
If you dont want to shoot pops you can also just run and jump over them when they are rolling towards you. Theyll explode and you wont get hit.
You should shoot Shredders in the thruster, not the body.
the thrusters are much smaller and only offer 20% bonus weak point damage. You can miss more shots aiming for the weak point which could be less efficient then dumping in the body
@meechtree5795 True, but they also have a hard time moving if you break them.
@meechtree5795 most skill issue thing i've read

I think it's pretty funny to use lure grenades to kill comets
Should be noted you can use melee on pops and not take damage
videogame logic haha
Similarly, you can shoot it right at your feet and as long as you kill it, the explosion does no damage. Summary: death explosion does no damage.
@Brian-yz8djThe comet would like a word with you 😂
@drscorpio1094 Well, the pops big cousin can stay home 😂
The utility tool ironically is chronically underutilized lol it's 3-4 swings TOPS to drop all shield types, with the survival perk tree perks can add extremely useful buffs (I reckon everyone mains mobility as default at least initially) mixed with stamina buffs from the mobility tree and if I'm in closing distance, ohhh buddy out comes my hockey stick. A hullcracker will handle any and all clankers with ease and efficiency. Highly recommend having one.
Yeah every time I have taken one in, I have been shot and robbed.
I think I have the worst luck with the hullcracker, I hit a firefly twice with one and it still didn't kill it, I got burned to death and lost the hullcracker.

Firefly you can shoot it's flamethrower as it opens up.
Or in a yellow canister. It will start burning.
For the Firefly, you can also take it down by shooting the fuel tank of it's flamethrower when it opens up to fire at you.
It takes more shots to break the fuel canister than the rotors and you have to tank the fire attack to do so. Not worth it in my opinion.
9:35 You don't mention it in the vid but you have a silencer! For me it's almost a must have for rocketeers
One single fireball burner will kill a turret. Very cheap and quiet
The fact that you didn't bring up the Bettina along with the anvil and ferro when talking about the matriarch further illustrates the problem that apparently no one knows how to use the Bettina properly. I'm surprised nobody is mentioning the weak point in the middle of the comet, if it rolls towards you 3-4 shots in the middle will take it down and you also get to collect that comet part for deadlines
4:41 the amount of time rats shooted me in the back while destroying surveyors *__*
9:45 Just remember that the rocketeer will reach you twice as fast during the matriarch's events.
5:48 True, my first major encounter with the shredder I just used a pillar for cover and proceeded to beat it up with the raider tool
5:35 carry a Lure Grenade in case there's no cover, they will always kill themselves for it! I've taken three out with one. They'll even damage other arc near by.
13:56 bro almost got a concussion
😂
Comets go down with two seeker grenades

I haven't played this game for three months, but your content is always a great time. Thanks for the vid!
Blaze grenade center mass of a leaper will just about take it out still FYI
This was so helpful thank youuuuu
Really helpful. Thank you
on Pops: way #3, sprint roll *through* them instead of away from them. Much easier! :)
Very good tips!
great, now i only need a video showing me how to walk and dodge roll and im ready for some hardcore gaming.
brilliant. good eye for detail
Love this channel!
I personally recommend the il Toro for the shredders, it knocks the back, does alot of damage to the body and you get more shells and repair parts back than you invested
Fallout guided me thru sooo much destiny and is now helping me with arc raiders. Homie is S tier. Thank you brother!
Excellent video. Thanx.
You my friend has gotten yourself a new follower =)
For the Rocketeer i threw a Hornet core at it, stunning it fell to the ground and shot the top of it killing it.
same here :)
one way I deal with leapers in duos is either me or my teammate brings showstopper grenades and the other brings a deadline. After the leaper uses its pulse, the player with the showstoppers throws one at its eye. Then, the other will place a deadline on its eye and boom free leaper kill.
Except it’s not free because you used two of the most difficult to craft explosives… Just use anvils and kite it around cover!
@nejyz Yeah I know. It's just an easy way to kill them because you don't need to shoot it for 5 minutes and attract other arc/raiders to you. I didn't mean free as in cheap it's just easier.
@nejyz Yeah Anvils are great. Ferro would be again a good sub for it. Happy raiding to you too! :D
for the firefly, just choose a side, left or right and shoot slightly abouve the arour as it comes for you, it somehow hits the propellers without hitting the armour, something about the firefly tilting forward as it comes for you, super easy to take down.
The rolling ones remind me of a movie called "Screamers".
So cool! I just love your channel since I started playing ARC!! SO congrats man. Now is it just me or is the ARC harder to fool since the new update? great tips!
So just to make sure that I understood the instructions: I'm supposed to shoot the arc or use explosives to destroy them. Okay got it. Thanks bro.
1:35 pops
Hit-em with ya stick. Looks scary but works
On burried city it's super easy to get leapers stuck in closed off subway entrances and they blow themselves up.
Pop tip: if it’s rushing you, play chicken and rush it head on (and keep running past it). It seems to create enough distance as it flys past you that you don’t actually take hit damage when it blows up. Obviously not possible in tight spaces or adjacent paths

You can bait a shredder. I threw two trigger nades on the ground in front of a did I could close. Got it to aggro on me. Shut the door when it got there and then blew up the triggers. Worked like a charm. Could probably use snap blasts but timing is importantly
Huge tip for pops that I don't see or hear many utilizing is that you can use your raider tool to hammer them dead and take no damage.
a bunch of ammo and shooting the top of the bastion works pretty well, attack from up on high
when a pop is charging straight at you, you can run at it and sprint dodge past it when it gets to you and its momentum will carry it past you when it blows it. you can also 1 hit melee them and they don't deal damage when they explode if they are killed rather then blowing themselves up
I find if you have good aim with an anvil, a couple shots to the comet's exposed core when it's charging you, will generally make quick work of it
The issue with the shredder isn’t the difficulty, it’s the fact you’ll almost always get third partied.
The hornet drive is one shot when the rocketeer is high in the sky since it flips it on its back and explodes
I like the Renegade, meduim ammo, but still a good rifle and its dealing good damage :) Feels simmilar to an Anvil
Hullcracker for everything. Hullcracker bless.
Love for TGM thats awesome :D
Your voice sounds like Ethan Hunt receiving his mission in the record store from MI: Rogue Nation. Great info for obliterating Arcs!
i just started this game and mannnnnn i'm just learning all of this live and the hard way xD
Would love to see Leepers have the ability to entery door ways & buildings.
why are you like this, you want us to die bro?
Thanks! 🎉
Found a seeker grenade blueprint while watching this video on Stella Montis
The Commets for explodes if you let it detonate by itself, which is where the good stuff is
For the surveyor, if you sneak up on it and chuck three snap blast grenades on it, it will blow up on the spot
i would HIGHLY recommend to use a hornet drivers if u dont have wolfpack nades. just jug it at it and it dies most of the times when they hit the ground or just shoot the turbines. most of the time i just need 2-3 shots after it hit the ground
One more on pops....hit it before it activates with your hockey stick. Usually by advancing towards it. (Does NOT work on Fireballs).
If you get close enough, surveyors will actually defend themselves now, rolling right into you.
You can also shoot the sentinel in the little yellow core thing on the back of it to take it out easier
Hope this help
Was hoping for a better method to kill comets than just “Pray” but I guess that will have to do
so like, expensive method, hullcracker will just obliterate it in one shot most of the time
In addition to using a hullcracker, if you bring in a torrente and have the ammo to spare it absolutely shreds them as long as you spot them before they get you.
For the fireball I like rolling away first them shooting it
You can just sprint directly towards and past a pop and it will boom after you're already safely away
You can also melee a pop. That way, its explosion won't hurt you
I would recommend dodging INTO the pop as it tries to explode, rather than away.
SNITCHES DO DIE IN ONE SEEKER BUT IT NEEDS TO HIT THE TOP OF THE SNITCH
wich you cannot controle....so yes....it takes 2
@belgievooraltijd You kinda can, dont throw the seeker head on, throw it straight up, above the intended target.
I very reliably take them out with just 1. If it survives, 1 anvil shot anywhere will finish it off
@belgievooraltijdLiterally just throw straight up
Same with Hornets too, if you can get the throw behind them you can often one shot them. If it come from the side or front though it hits all that armor instead
less than a month in and i found 2 wolfpacks and didnt know what they were thankfully i held on to them
Please post more videos of you just playing Arc Raiders with your buddies
Thank bro
Something that helps me out a lot that I see people not using is the cloak. The cloak will literally make any arc go "must've been the wind" even if they were trying to kill you. I use the cloak to casually get behind bastions/bombs to deadline them, and also makes solo harvester plays very easy.

You can also stun the surveyor and shred some of it's armor off. Arpeggio has worked decently in the past as long as you're semi-close to it
One well thrown hornet driver will disable 2 thrusters on a rocketeer and it will fall out of the sky and explode
If you keep distance between yourself and rocketeer over 80m it wont speed attack it slowly hovers to close the gap, but you keep backing off keeping 80m, very useful to take it out with ferro or ospray
If you can get an angle, snitches also have a weakspot atop of their frame
Addition to the Hornet: when you shoot two of the Turbines and the Hornet crashes down and does not explode it still can fire at you and Damage you.
Fireflys also have a tank beneath their body which can be shot and that helps kill them and lessen the fire damage I've heard
One seeker grenade is all it takes to kill a snitch and wasp most of the time. But, sometimes for both wasps and snitches, it will take two. It depends on the angle it hits.
It takes two Seeker Grenades to flatline a Comet :)
One thing I’ve seen another RUclipsr do is use a wasp core against a rocketeer. Throw it at the front and above it so it hits two engines and it should crash to the ground. I needed two-three probably because the main body got hit but it does a lot of damage when it crashes into stuff
Hornet Driver not Wasp. but I have seen it work
So what I'm hearing is that anvil and ferro is the answer to everything
Renegade is awesome for Rocketeers as well
You can also hit the Front shoot of the fron thruster from a hornet without destroying the armor first
Arc Raiders just keeps on delivering. I love this game.
