    What's more, Slimane is a songwriter. The song he wrote for his daughter, who has a medical problem with her heart, "Des milliers de je t'aime" makes me cry every time I listen to it. For me, he's a musical genius.

    Bonjour de France.
    Magnifique chanson
    Slimane est merveilleux.
    Un chanteur et interprète incroyable.
    Nous l'aimons pour sa simplicité, sa gentillesse et humilité.
    Merci pour votre vidéo.

    It was live. His live are always better than the studio version. I don't think that he ever lyp-sync

      Yea I defo thought it was live but I was second guessing myself. At least we will never have to worry about his vocal at ESC 😂

    Like you my taste in music is pretty average haha, and when it comes to ballads I'm hard to please. The first time I listened to this, while I thought Slimane's vocals were amazing, the song itself I wasn't wowed by as much as I was expecting. But having listened to it a couple more times, I'm actualy really enjoying it. The lyrics are 👌.

    The song gets a 8,5 from me. With the lyrics being its weaker part. A bit too basic for me. The composition is also quite basic but at least it's very suitable for his emotional approach and his arabic elements infusing a classic French ballad.
    The voice gets a very clear 10 from me. I don't make sense of your 9. I mean, which voice do you find better than this? Just wondering.
    The visuals get a 9 from me. Not ground-breaking but properly slick and classy and perfectly respecting the mood and emotion of the song and achieving a warm and clear presentation of this amazing performer's charm. We get to dive into his hands, his body posture, every feature of his beautifully expressive face. Since the glorious performer is there, the wisest choice is to just focus on him and let him shine. I only don't give it a 10 just to leave some space to surprise and innovative perfection.
    All in all, I'm glad you liked this while not a ballad fan (I don't really get the non fans of ballads but I'm trying :p ). It's a very good sign for this entry's success. I really want France to be properly rewarded for this great choice! They deserve big love!!! And of course this heavenly artist deserves an even bigger career.

    Hi ik this is random but would you like it if England, Scotland and Wales comported separately in ESC? I just wondered because your ESC heart is the Scottish flag.. 🤨

    • @escscot
      @escscot  Год назад +2

      Emm definitely not! I just don’t see it happening and I definitely would not want it to happen. I have the Scotland flag on my logo as I am a Scottish ESC reactor, there’s not many of them. So I wanted Scotland to be part of my channel when I first started it!
