I also recommend Eric Burdon & War performing Spill The Wine on the German TV show Beat Club from 1970. The Animals were heavily related with the fortunes of Jimi Hendrix. Chas Chandler (bassist) discovered him in New York and brought Jimi to London in 1966 to make him into a star, producing Jimi's first 2 albums. On the night Jimi died in London 1970 he attended an Eric Burdon and War gig and jumped on stage to play along for a couple of numbers. The next morning when Jimi's girlfriend Monika Danneman couldn't rouse him the first person she telephoned was Eric Burdon. Eric advised her to make Jimi some coffee and slap him awake. Of course, Jimi was RIP.
