Political Asylum and Passport Laws in India

Before the year 2014, the person who used to be deported back on Emergency certificate after his application for grant of political asylum was rejected in that country, his passport facility for a period of five years was denied in India. But in 2014 after I filed a Writ Petition in Delhi High Court along with others titled Kulvir Singh Vs. Union of India, Delhi High Court granted the passport facility to the persons who were denied the passport for five years. This judgment was also sustained by the Division bench of High Court.
