Yes, the urns respawn also one quick add. When you get to certain points in the boss fights, he will spawn a couple of healer creatures. They usually glow white. Take them out as fast as you can, or the boss will start healing.

I will be returning to this guide on numerous occasions once i reach a level i am comfortable engaging with the Nether activity (and after completing Lightfall and Final Shape campaigns.) As a solo gamer, ranged and cautious is how i tend to play, so this guide resonates very well with me. I really appreciate how much you explain. It helps an old man like me understand . As a warlock who largely relies on anything health related i found this activity rather daunting when hearing about it but by the time i am ready to engage with it i will be looking forward to the challenge. When fighting the subjugator, the little room you were in with the chest was actually the better choice. Easy to plink the minions running around, and the sunjugator himself will sit around the raised structure to the right. You can mostly hit him in the head, and he will pop out also. If you want to hit him with a super, just jump across and underneath the structure, then run back to the safe room if that doesn't do the trick.
At 06:02 my brain checked out. It’s been a looooong decade playing Destiny. This might be the straw that breaks this camels back. It’s just so confusing now. Seems so complicated to me. I just used to start the mission, shoot some monsters and get the loot. What the hell happened? The plunder season was the last one I understood I think. The playing cards one with Eris was a washout for me. I never got through the activity as the other players did it so fast they just pulled me through rooms “joining Allies” and I had no idea what the hell was going on. Anyway. Thanks for the guide. I’ve been just wandering around the dreadnought wondering what to do.
Exactly, they've turned this game into a rogue like, souls like circus. With overturned damage sponges for enemies by listening to the elitist Destiny streamers and get gud crowd, instead of focusing on the majority of it's playerbase which are casual players. It's an annoying slog fest now with ridiculous mechanics for everything.
The Midnight encounters are the three main fights and the boss in each of the three rooms we go through. The bonus objectives that give extra buffs DON'T count. I highly recommend picking up Renewal Rune.
If the Ghost icon is still visible in your HUD, it means there are secrets in the area waiting to be discovered. No ghost icon, you've found all the secrets for the area you're currently in.
Thanks for all the info. Well explained. My first take, I was not happy with the new stuff, but am getting used to it. As a solo, you do need to take it slow. I just didn't like being thrown into the thunder dome with a Tormentor and Friends for a group meeting if you know what I mean. I was also trying the new Trace rifle, which I am using wrong, or is not that great with my build. I think the urns re-spawn too. If you are really low do circle back and look .
Solo's weird. we're supposed to have something like x2 or x3 health, but i was getting 2 shot by the time I got to the second boss, and 1 shot on the 3rd round by the minibosses. lost basically all my lives to the shielded subjugator pair because they both just outright 1 shot me. when I was playing with a team they weren't doing nearly as much damage. wondering if maybe i grabbed a corrupted boon by mistake or something somewhere. also, the eyes. they're not _their_ line of sight, they're *your* line of sight. it doesn't matter if you're near them so long as you're not actually looking at them. you can even just stare at your feet if you need to stop it real quick and let it fade
I truly don't understand why Bungie forces the casual solo player through rogue-like punish failure mechanics for *storyline missions* - give me a chill option with less loot so I can enjoy the story and open other content. Hey yall I’m also a solo player but I’m more of a slayer, and dare I say a sweat. I recommend using the crimson (exotic hand cannon like mini red death) and a area denial grenade launcher (void is optimal but it doesn’t matter).
Agree with that. I made it to the final boss only to have him rip through my revives. All that time spent on a story mission for nothing. Waste of my time. I think I'll just skip this season and play something else.
Over complicated, this probably why I keep getting weasel. I gave up, only half way through the first part. I killed 2 big bosses and it only gave me one completion.
I started in a different area which I did not recognize from my times on the original Dreadnought and was somewhat disappointed but the area you started at was very familiar to me and is good to see back again..just saying! Their tuning scares me a little. Is that to make solo better, or more in line with their original expectations. I'm really not digging the almost get one shot by invisible snipers as soon as adds come out thing.

What I've been finding when I was playing is when you beat bosses or minor bosses they drop little itty bitty black orbs I've been shooting those and they've been giving me the gold tickets or the Exotic tickets and also legendary ones and I've been picking up these weird symbols I don't know what they are but look out for those little black orbs laying on the ground,,
If you're at the place I think you are you have to shoot those orange egg like bubbles. Shoot enough of them and ads will show up. Make sure you burst all of them

Equip Crimson and maybe a GL with the unrelenting perk. Both will regenerate your health. Hit up, Nether Explorer, and go in solo. On my second run, I went flawless. Good luck 👍
Agreed, not impossible. But very very challenging. I got him to super low, I was on my last revive, thought I had him. We killed each other. He booped me off the edge and I killed him with a grenade…ugh.
The trick is to get to him with enough lives to give, so no matter what he does, hes fuxked. My last solo run,he was so anxious to stomp me out that he-got caught up in a pillar portal. He still continued to throw those void destructo disc.
@mrblack6439 what's ridiculous is that bolt he throws goes up down around corners and takes a 2/3 of your life.... Hardly seems fair since you can't regenerate life
Just a side note...causals are NOT going to have a good time in the solo Nether. Use the matchmade version for the story quest..."it's not that bad"...yes it is...man, streamers are out if touch with casual players Oh and equip Crimson
..Break out the ratking for healing... updating.... red death nope heal clip nope healing rift an grenades nope BUT crimson suros kinda work Rat king is king yes it gives invisibility the catalyst gives FULL HEAL on reload
i spend more time looking for broken bosses that dont spawn and trying to figure out what i need to do than playing the game. imagine what a new player thinks, im a destiny beta vet. f all bungie devs they are terrible at their job

I agree. I'm a solo Warlock player. Healing rifts, I guess aren't any good here, so it's all about the strategy now.

just get good or just do the matchmade version. you get more loot and it’s easy. destiny players when they have to use 6% more effort
Is this something I’m going to have to repeat several times to see progress? So far I’ve done it 3 times and haven’t seen any progress.

cunning n scheeming is xivus' biggest strength but it's also her biggest weakness 'cause she can't do anything w/o tht cunning n scheming :)

I'm stuck on destroying 2 out of 3 of the weapons. My encounter just won't load any enemies.

The whole none regen health perk is the most annoying thing in this season, thus far. Because why? Just WHY.
