Hi. There, I purchased this device few days a go and I followed the instruction in this video to configure the unit. I successfully configured but I am not sure if this device doesn't have the option to record the livestream or it does have this option and I am not aware of it. Please provide guidance and if the record option is not available what are my odds to have livestream recorded as well? Thanks
The explanation sounds very good. I'm looking to purchase the encoder but i'm wondering how do i start encoder to stream and when done how do i stop or is it constantly running. I currently use my PC to do the encoding with the my streaming software but i think using an external encoder is much better as this one would be less stress on my PC.
Hi Bernard. The unit is constantly running as long as it’s plugged in and receiving signal. It's plug and play. You can Enable or Disable the RTMP stream using the device UI. (Time STAMP 6:12) Alternatively, If you don't change any settings you can just connect/disconnect the device to start/stop the encoding. You would still need to reestablish your link to your streaming platform each time you want to start a stream using either method. Hope this helps. We appreciate you stopping by our channel, let us know is there is anything else we can help with.
@@BZBTVchannel Appreciate the response. Ok so i guess my question would be, being the encoder is constantly running how do i connect/disconnect the signal from my PC to the encosder to start/stop the stream. I ask because i do 2hr. shows 3-4x's/wk to my RUclips/Facebook platforms and i want to make sure i get it done right.
@@Bernard-H When you are logged into the stream encoders web interface there is an option to enable and disable the stream. See video time stamp ruclips.net/video/XC-E_vfkiEE/видео.html
Hi, I have a question: How do i send the signal from my streaming software to the encoder vs having to connect the program out of my video switcher to the encoder. Currently i have my video switcher to my streaming software then from my streaming software to the individual platforms i stream to. Now i'd like to send the signal from the software to the encoder but would need to know how.
Hi Lecris, You can use the URL from this device to stream to a privately owned Domain/Website or any social media platform that permits live streaming. Thanks for watching and stopping by!
Hi Art, no these devices are accessed via WebGui over an IP address so you can configure the recordings. It's an IP Streaming device for RUclips or other platforms. Thank you for stopping by and watching our channel!
Hello, you would need to create a VPN to stream remotely from the dedicated computer running VLC player. "VPN stands for "virtual private network" - a service that helps you stay private online. A VPN establishes a secure, encrypted connection between your computer and the internet, providing a private tunnel for your data and communications while you use public networks." Thanks for commenting and watching!
