Oh my goodness, that Holly Hobbie embroidery is so cute. My mother did that for my on a nightgown when I was little. I recently just found the original kit at a hospice thrift shop and my daughter is doing the embroidery on it. It came with an oval frame and all of the floss and yarn. I can't wait until it's done. I got it for $1! Harriet is going to cherish that when she gets older!! Great find!!!
I love your clothing choices and how you capsules them all together for mix n match versatility. You have great style that actually functions. Too many times I see these youtubers post videos for clothing hauls that aren’t practical for everyday real life. I appreciate your videos.
I love these videos from you. They really are inspiring me to do the same for Fall and Winter this year. I have a bunch of clothes, a ton that I don’t wear because I have outgrown the style and no style direction right now.
Haha I relate to this video better than other thrifting videos because when I thrift I have to bring my 4 year old, 2 year old and 11 month old with me so seeing you with your daughter makes me feel at home 😂
There is a RIT fabric dye in a rusty shade called “Harvest” that you could use to dye cotton and certain other materials easily at home. Maybe you could dye some lighter colored thrifted finds to make them suit the pallet you have in mind for fall/winter. Loved the video, thanks!
Kitty Cotten I second this! I’ve been interested in dyeing some thrifted linen and cotton pieces after drooling over everything rawson sells, but I haven’t gotten around to it. If you try it out please make a video!
Tasha lelynn just posted a video on making those types of scrunchies with the tails out of fabric from pillow cases, sheets and other pieces of fabrics she finds from the thrift store so that might be a cheap alternative to what you're looking for 😊
My daughter went to a public Montessori school from pre-school to 8th grade, now she is 30 and she graduated from college with the suma cume laude , and she is a artist and does graphic design and a substitute teacher, I don’t think Montessori fits all children learning abilities but it was good for her , I like your video.
Omg that mod jacket it so cool! Take it to a cobbler to get a new button, those places can usuallu fix that kinda problem. Congrats on your sisters new company! (Do you watch portlandia? The shes making jewelry now skit) lol
You can buy those kind of denim metal stud buttons at Joann's! You might have to repair the whole a bit though because it might have ripped out and made the whole too large.
Hi Kitty, do u like buying 2nd hand online? Or do u prefer thrift stores because u can try the pieces? Just curious cause I buy 2nd hand online and many pieces didn't fit, thanks
Tara Oldham I’ve actually been shopping ThredUp over the last year. It’s pretty good. I’ve picked up some awesome items for great prices. But if you send in a clean out bag, don’t expect a lot back. My first bag I sent in full of top name brand designer items, including a $200 blazer, and all I got was $18 store credit for the whole bag. The store credit was a higher payout than if I took a cash payout. So just a little info on that if you’re in sending in your items. Other than that it’s a great site. Shipping was pretty quick and returning an item was easy.
Mary Bly not sure what her answer is but personally my boyfriend buys new. I will occasionally grab a nice shirt for him but he wants things to look new. He won’t wear something if it feels or looks worn.. but lately he keeps hinting that he likes when I buy him stuff 😂 he just is sooo picky.. I’m thinking of dragging him w me so he can get some plain basics but I know a lot of guys just feel too cool for thrift stores lol. He’s starting to realize how awesome it is though. I went all summer .. found 5 adidas pants, 2 Nike. Tons of name brand sweaters as well. It’s crazy! I wish more people would
It's lovely to see Harriett with a doll of colour. X
I would 100% watch a Monassuri at home video!!! I’ve been obsessed recently (sorry about spelling)
Please do your Montessori at home video! That would be so helpful 😄
Love you and your videos and love love love love that Harriett has a beautiful black baby doll!!!

My mom made a Holly Hobbie birthday cake for my 5th birthday party & also a dress & bonnet. I was obsessed! ☺
I love that Harriett was grabbing for the clothes 😍

Loved this format! I love seeing someone who puts thought into their thrift shops, rather than running in just for the low prices.
That cream jacket is sooooo cute!
Megan Acuna i think so too! Never owned a cream denim jacket before but excited about it ☺️

I love the visual plan that you had for this
There is a RIT fabric dye in a rusty shade called “Harvest” that you could use to dye cotton and certain other materials easily at home. Maybe you could dye some lighter colored thrifted finds to make them suit the pallet you have in mind for fall/winter. Loved the video, thanks!
Vic Fleenor okay this is genius!! I need to get back to the thrift store now!
Kitty Cotten I second this! I’ve been interested in dyeing some thrifted linen and cotton pieces after drooling over everything rawson sells, but I haven’t gotten around to it. If you try it out please make a video!
Love the embroidery piece so much and the shelf is a sweet idea!
Thanks Kitty, I love your style and your videos.
What if you took (if possible) the top brass button on the white jacket and sow it on the missing button in the middle.
I also love chairs!!! I have bought so many. Love buying them in pairs and have them in rooms with a little table between... xoxo
Fyi..... the men’s section is good for oversized cardigans and mock turtleneck sweaters. And good jeans.

Sorry **leelyn haha
Your hair is so cute! I have to spend 20 mins with my flat iron to even ATTEMPT it to look as cute as yours. Lol
Rust/ burnt orange is my favourite colour! Looks amazing especially during autumn. That cream colour you got was so cute, you found a great piece!
I just found your channel and I love your style! Also, you have amazing bangs❤️
Take one of the sleeve buttons (farthest from the cuff) to replace the missing middle button, on the jacket. Been there, done that 😂
god the beige jacket. wow.
Love your stroller !!!!
Loved this video and would love to see the at home Montessori video!🤗

Loved it! Can't wait for the next one! x
I love your style! Great finds! Will you be doing a fall wardrobe video this year??
Loved it kitty
Have you tried Poshmark for finding specific things? It’s still thrifting and you can support someone’s small business 😊
yes absolutely!
Please do a Montessori video!
I agree!
Can u make a lookbook for ur fall/winter thrift
I am looking for the same colors are styles this winter! I love the jeans you're wearing at the first thrift store. What style of Levi's are they?
Ashley Myers I live in the 501 and Wedgie styles 🙌🏼
Have you ever tried ThredUP? I been hearing about the site been wondering if it is any good

What goodwill do you shop at most in Minnesota? I am from the twin cities but never have this much luck.
Erin Gray that day the south MPLS one but sometimes Bloomington and west of the cities! Arch Value Village is great too!
What kind of stroller do you have? It looks very lightweight and easy.
It's the Cogulo stroller. I still have my UPPAbaby Vista and love it but this stroller is perfect for my small car and traveling.
You were at my fav ARC!
LOVED this videos
I'm curious if your husband thrifts his clothes or buys new?

I enjoy videos like this. I hope to see more!
I know this is so random! Lol but what stroller is that? :)
It's the Cogulo stroller. I still have my UPPAbaby Vista and love it but this stroller is perfect for my small car and traveling.
Kitty Cotten thank u ♥️
I'm not ready for fall!! 😩😩
Please don’t make Harriet look at that Holly Hobbie disaster thing! It’s as bad as those big eyed children from hell or those horrid clown pics!
