- In October 2017, I attended the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, a hot air balloon festival in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is one of the largest hot air balloon festivals in the world with over 500 hot air balloons taking flight. It was EPIC.

NJ has a Balloon Festival sponsored by Quick Chek, the last weekend in July at Solberg Airport in Readington Twp NJ

They have a smaller balloon fest in NJ during late July every year. I would like to see this one just for the sheer number of balloons going up in the mass ascension!
I've been to smaller festivals too and they are still magical! The mass ascension at the fiesta is truly magical. I hope you get the chance to go!
Yes there are other balloon fiestas but Albuquerque has the biggest one in the world!
