Very good battalion size ceremonial drill, properly sized, good dressing most probably one of the best drill for a police force in the world, but distance between formations is a little too close ! Keep 7 paces between platoons and 10 paces between companies so they don't bunch up during the march-past.
Is the 7 and 10 paces note universal between methods or do you think the Chinese have different distancing? I don’t have any parade experience, so I have no eye for these things.
@@matthewpham9525 Since I don't have a PLA ceremonial drill manual on hand I can't really tell you, but the PLA are sticklers for ceremonial drill from their salutes to their dressing and I can tell you they the best in the world from the lowest ranking soldier to the highest ranking general all can drill and do double time. The PLA also parades and march-pasts in battalion and brigade size formations which is unheard of these days in western militaries today. Here you can see the PLA drum major doing mace drill that is the same with British mace drill, but you will rarely or never see the British doing this type of mace drill because it simply too difficult for older and obese drum majors in western military bands. In the National Day parades every 10 years, the mass PLA bands are stationary and you never see the band marching or the drum major doing mace drill, but here at foreign military tattoos you see them doing it and what a sight to behold if you grew up with the military. ruclips.net/video/yO7L__xw5vo/видео.html
