0:33 I’m taking that as our new DC is still coaching. Dabo is VERY organized and is always 2-3 steps ahead on everything. Which leads me to believe our guy is still coaching and he’s waiting on his season to end. Much like the garret riley hire.
I've considered this possibility. That points us to: Jim Leonhard Tom Allen Al Golden Some have mentioned Jim Knowles but I don't think we're gonna take an OSU coordinator.
8:57 hold up when did this unlimited coaching rule take place? And please tell me we couldn’t have had a true special teams coach last season without going over the number of coaches allowed.
I believe 2025 is the first year. To be clear, you can't have more coaching go out on the recruiting trail, but they can interact with the players now so any analyst can essentially coach. That mean Ward could coach LB as long as he doesn't do any OFF-CAMPUS recruiting.
Yeah, but I think having 1 more coach is helpful. You don't want 20 more which is what you get when add all the analysts and such, but one more is fine.
Green did better than i thought. Good to see. Hope to see Mayo on the field at DE this coming year contributing well. Rumph needs to get production from him and Heldt.
I’d love to see the pff video on the 2018 tiger team. We were talented and deep. I bet the vast majority of our 1st and 2nd string players would be on the far right of the scale.
I wonder how much of an honest shot Dabo and Clemson have with Jeremiah Alexander. Auburn may throw a huge sum at him. That might be a good addition to DE.
He’s not a DE lol Saban moved him to MLB so he’s staying put at that and we have a shot. We were competitive financially with both of our transfers so far and we had to compete against LSU and A&M for Heldt. Idk why you’d be worried about Auburn. They don’t have anywhere near the money of those other 2 schools
@@clemsonaddict24 Auburn has already landed some transfers based on money. Clemson recruited Alexander as a DE, and he clearly didn't pan out so well as a LB so far. Maybe he's interested in trying DE again.
I really like the PFF grade scale. Helps to put things into perspective
I'm glad you found it useful. I thought they were useful too!

@ wow that’s cool. That could help but could be a scenario where you have too many chefs in the kitchen. We will see.

I don't think that's a problem with Heldt.
@ryan_kantor I'm thinking about starting DE in 2026 and good backup DE in 2025 for Mayo after Parker leaves.

Agree. I bet they would.
What about Jerod Mayo? DC and linebackers coach.
Didn’t consider that. Has he called plays?
Robert Saleh lol... if we're aiming high
Why not?
Never called a play, that’d basically be a retry of Wes lol
@@clemsonaddict24 Seems unnecessarily risky.
Go Tigers
Why is charlie strong not being brought up
I don’t know. Perhaps age discrimination? He could be a strong move.
@ryan_kantor from what I've read he's not coaching
@@rodneysimmons9206 They are now saying Tim Banks is out and Al Golden is a target. From my understanding, he would likely only leave for the NFL.

@ how I see it is if Nick Saban says you’re a LB. You’re a LB
Barrett Carter was a victim of poor coaching and fortunately NFL scouts are aware of that.
Yeah, if he goes on the second day (rounds 2-3) that will appear to be the case.
I hope it’s not any of these people on this list.
Why? Some great names on that list.
