  • On 12 August 1917, Tsar Nicholas II and his family were imprisoned in the Governor’s Mansion in Tobolsk. That building was the home of the governor of Siberia prior to the February Revolution of 1917.
After the Bolsheviks came to power in October 1917, the conditions of the family’s imprisonment grew stricter, and talk of putting Nicholas on trial grew more frequent. As the Bolsheviks gathered strength, the government on April 26 moved Nicholas, Alexandra, and their daughter Maria to Ekaterinburg. On May 20, the four remaining children were also taken away from Tobolsk, to Ekaterinburg, their final destination.

In these days of universal confinement and seclusion, due to the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) threat, let us remember this family that was kept incarcerated by another lethal enemy until they finally met their death, not in a bed of illness but in the most horrible and brutal way! So, let us, therefore, be inspired by their loving example, by how they found joy in one another, and see that they were able to transform even the worst misfortune to a most bright occasion to enjoy life happily and give thanks to God for all things!

The work the perfection of these photographs, how u placed them , kept thier diaries told as real truth that went on in all thier private lives thank u so very much for the years hours it took so we could know the real family
Many worlds have come , gone with thier generations but were still the same aren't we
Still, still family's being displaced, still there r those who just want the truth to be told even if only left by memories of photos, letters, or diaries, thank u for taking that time to make sure it is told to the best it can and sharing it with us in such beautiful detail 💝

I have this book and I really must sit down and read it properly from start to finish!
I have been to that mansion in Tobolsk on my last trip to Russia where we started in St Petersburg for a few days (love it there!), then flew from there to Moscow and a few hours later caught the Trans Siberian railway to Tobolsk where we had a lovely time looking around their Kremlin (the food there is excellent) and we went to the Governor's mansion (I still can't believe I've been in there!) and it was emotional and wonderful looking around the rooms. Tobolsk is well worth visiting (it's just getting there!) and the people there are lovely.
I have been madly interested in this family since I was 16 years old and now I am 45 years old; I still love and idolise the family just as much now (if not more so!) than I did then.
A few things that I wanted to mention here:
    1) The children were never actually under arrest like their parents were. They could have quite literally if they wanted to just walk out of their prison but at the same time they weren't very well and also where would they have gone? It pains me to say this but they were at that time safer with their parents than outside in the real world.
2)The lady near the beginning in the nurse's uniform sat with Tsarevich Alexei is Klavdia Bitner who knew the family well and came to Tobolsk to teach the four younger children children and became very fond of Alexei and Olga in particular. Anastasia got on her nerves! Klavdia knew the commandant Kobylinsky and later had a child with him. Their story doesn't have a happy ending either because later Bitner and Kobylinsky were both shot.
I love the colour photograph at the end of Tatiana and her mother, it simply shows just how close the two really were.
Thank you for keeping their memories alive and may they rest in peace 🙏 xxx

This is not a fantasy thing.. we are looking at a beloved family who died for insane peoples action but I think they have more peace now they ever had on earth

I'm not russian but I feel like knowing them a little, their souls, their dignity. They aren't forgotten, despite what the Bolcheviks did. They wanted to erase them but in the end, the communists fell and the Romanov aren't forgotten and they are known as martyrs, in Russia, and in every country.
Life has been tough on them, in their last year, but Time has been kind because they have been rehabilitated. Those children weren't monsters but victims and they lived this hard time with grace.
At least, they were all together, they weren't alone in those horrible time. They could count on each other.

Why does it never occur to people to sit down without rancor and discuss the problems & try to find a solution. That is the true way to resolve issues. Even if it means you don't get your own way. People don't have to die like this family did. Some "humans" don't deserve that title. My heart really really hurts to read of their precarious predicament and the "final solution" according to someone who doesn't deserve the title of human.

Also, how did all of these manage to survive? I would think that the Bolsheviks wanted to destroy everything that was associated with the Tsar. Maybe I'm wrong, but I find it amazing that so much about the Romanovs has survived to this day.

Why? Why kill a Christian family that was a good example to other families? Even this Royal family were "role models" for other Russian even Orthodox Christian families. I have to ask the question, if the secular European Union governments in Brussels, Strasbourg and especially in Berlin, reveal another Lenin to lead the EU, do other Royal families in Europe face persecution and worse??? The tragic yet "Passionate" fate & destiny of the Romanov royal family is both a "Vigil" & even possibly a "Foreboding" of persecution of Christians in Europe to come. Look at the EU government, do they not remind you of Bolsheviks rather than of Monarchists??? I would say they(Brussels & Berlin governments) are modern-day Bolsheviks. The Martyred Tsar & his Romanovs are Warning us through this Book in video, that IF IT HAPPENED TO THEM IN 1918 IT CAN HAPPEN TO OTHERS IN 2020s.

To change the future which the strong ones of this world build it is a work that only God can achieve. And He will do that! But He will do that at the very end. So, what we can hope and pray for is not for a world here on earth that will be free from injustice, but for more people (as more as possible) to realize in time that only through love and virtue we are saved. And thus, be prepared for the eternal restoration of the world.
Have you heard of our book? www.romanovs.eu/en
