Hello! May I ask, is there a reason you prefer to cut the cooked pasta as opposed to, say, breaking it into 4ths before cooking? I've recently seen a short where an American woman is married to the sweetest Italian guy-- but apparently, she likes to mess with the poor guy... The *look* on his face when she broke the spaghetti in half *before* cooking it...😵 I kept thinking, 'When did she stab him-- I don't think I saw a knife?'🤔😉 Is this a serious offense to Italians? Does it vary by region? I certainly don't want to offend people, but tbh, depending on what I'm making, I find it quite helpful to break it ahead of time-- and I still need the kitchen shears...
