Went here every year as a kid back in early 70's, when it was at the Lit Brothers building. Back when Christmas was a magical time.

Every year my Mother would dress me up and take me to Christmas village at the old lit brothers in Philly one of my fondest memories of Christmas and happy times with Mom.

I remember visiting the Enchanted Village every holiday season. Great memories! The reporter did an awful job reporting this story. They should have had a more seasoned reporter cover this since he thought it was so "creepy"

Wow! I haven't seen that in about 45 years. What a great part of Philly history! To bad that 19 year old could not appreciate it.

This appears to be about 3-5 buildings from the Enchanted Village. From what I remember, there was a WHOLE lot more to it.

The only thing that's creepy is the reporter. Many fond memories of seeing this at the Lit Bros. Department Store. I remember there being a butcher with sausages hanging. Will the missing scenes be restored?

I couldn't agree more - I had to stop watching because he was ruining all my fond memories of it. I LOVE The Enchanted Village - we used to go to see it at Longwood Gardens.

I remember that one my favorite was the candy maker and the carolers and the birds on the roof.

Creepy??? Does this guy know how offensive his commentary is to so many Philadelphians and by the way the people who put so much money into restoring these treasures??? I personally have many fond memories of going and seeing the full attraction back in the day with my grandmother every year. He is just ignorant and you should never be allowed to do a report like that again!

This guy sucks. Total lack of respect for what was and should still be important to many in Philly. He should be fired and sent to Pittsburgh.

They really sent the wrong person to do this. No respect.

Justin Pizzi is the worst newsperson. How much worse can he get? I grew up with this Lits display from day 1. This was preDickens Village.
