At this point the worldstate option at the beginning of the game should have just been "Did you romance Solas? Yes or No?". That's all that option really was.
I guess it makes up for the lack of wedding we got in inquisition. Would have still been cool to have the romanced person also be present at the redemption of Solas with their last words for him.
I get that Dorian and The Inquisitor being together wasn't important to the plot, but only having one interaction in the whole game was pretty disappointing.

just replayed Hawke's appearance and it actually gets mentioned 2 times by hawke another by the Fear demon and 2 times by Varric (depending on whether you choose to leave hawke or a warden behind)
[Spoilers] There is also a letter you can get from Dorian to the Inquisitor where he pretty much gushes over how much he misses the Inquisitor and that he will start to say I love you as much as humanly possible.
Man I was really hoping there'd be some line confirming they're going to be staying closer to each other, after the gods were defeated, because seeing them part at the end of trespasser always hurt.

People are complaining how Dorian looks but he still looks like Dorian to me, just older. Same with Isabella. So yeah, seems to me people just don’t think older people look attractive. Also Dorian’s hairstyle choices are how it is in the comics after DAI.
What is the point in allowing all the other romances then? Solas romances Inquisitor gets this loooooooooong talk about ther love for Solas in a cut scene and everyone else gets... what? a single one liner? why? Why even let us pick anything but a female elf?

He literally critiques other's outfit choices (Vivienne, Solas), Vivienne says he has a great sense of fashion, when he's got low health says he's too pretty to die, also Dorian tries to get Varrick to say who is the inquisitions best dressed mage (it's been dorian and viv), Varrick's nickname for him is literally sparkler cause he's all flash no heat, Solas suggests Dorian would conserve more magic if it was less flashy and Dorian is like yeah that's boring. Did you even play Inquisition?

How the worldstate just matters less and less each game. More than half of the options chosen at the beginning of veilguard never even came into play, and the big faction stories don't really matter to rook because his origin is always the same, he fucked up with the faction, they punished him. Like, the way they set up Viago in the beginning when I read that long essay he wrote saying he would chase rook into the fade if he gets himself killed, then going to treviso having Teia talk about him being worried about Rook I thought some revelation that Viago would be a Crow Rook's half older brother, only for that setup to go nowhere, and most of the side characters not mattering much at all. This whole game feels like they cut a lot of content and just shipped it as is.

I came here to see if the dorian x inquisitor romance gets acknowledged, and was once again reminded how much they butchered Dorian's appearance in this game. and is it just me or do the animations look worse than in Inquisition...? The voice acting is good, the rest, not so much.

The dialogue is…eh. Hit or miss for me. Some parts are quite good, other parts it feels like Rook treats his companions like children. The Neve dialogue is all excellent. I also like how much more concise this game actually is honestly. I know lore junkies love heavy dialogue like inquisition had, especially from the companions, but this game allowed much more movement in the pacing and more of a sense of urgency.

Honestly, I think it's fine that the cameos and overlap for earlier games isn't overdone. It made more sense in Mass Effect because you are the same character the whole time. Also, this is about how much we have gotten in every previous game. Hawke barely mentions his romance in Inquisition, and we never even see the Hero of Ferelden again.
That’s probably more from video rendering on YT than the game. The animations in the game are really good but I did notice the audio didn’t sync up perfectly when I saved my videos. I’m not sure what animations you consider “unnatural” though
