  • Erica Thrash-Sall, 2021 Winner of the RWJF Award for Health Equity, is the Executive Director, Presbyterian Villages of Michigan - McFarlan Villages. Erica has developed a hub of support for older adults with limited resources through comprehensive affordable housing services centered on dignity, autonomy, wellness, and psychological resilience. In this video, Erica discusses a number of topics including the mission of McFarlan Villages in Flint, Michigan; the importance of combining behavioral health, preventive health, disease management, and affordable housing; and the interplay of the psychological aspects of aging with the challenges faced by diverse adults with limited incomes.
