@otirudam don't get me wrong, i myself is a classical music lovers as well, i started playing piano when i was 4... it is a fact that many people don't "appreciate" classical music, not necessarily dislike, b/c nowadays people cant comprehend classical music. and for those who truly love classical music like myself, most of us play an instrument, note, not just for fun, but influenced by family members and the social status they are associated with. its like money, people want them, but its hard
This is classical music, in the conventional sense. I know it isn't classical music, technically, but it is the easiest way to refer to it. Or would you really prefer to mention every period you like in a normal conversation? I bet you're one of those girls that googles "Relaxing Piano Music" to do your homework to. As I can see, you're into the likes of Skrillex Rihanna and all that, so stop pretending you're some master when you're not. Stop nitpicking, and go away.

No, "classical music" refers to the whole of Western art music, of which the classical period is one among others.
