Another awesome day in the woods. My daughter came in while I was watching and she commented how I had a big grin on my face while you guys were talking about the auction. I know it's been a while, but my prayers go up for Jake. But it's truly awesome how you guys are using something that you love to do as a platform to to help folks in need. I know you guys are friends, but I'm sure an event like that can not only help raise funds but also bring awareness. So we can maybe have less incidents that cause us stress. And more life enhancing memories! Nothing grips me tighter than when my wife or children are in pain! Way to stand in the gap! Heath and peace to you and all of yours! Stay safe!
Man some of us can’t thank you enough for what you do and have accomplished. I love coyote hunting more than hunting any other animal in this world. They are some of the smartest animals out there to hunt. Yeah sure people hunt them a lot with thermals but that’s like shooting fish in a barrel. When you can call several coyotes in especially the middle of the day that speaks a lot about how dedicated and experienced you are. I love the content and the products you sell God Bless y’all and keep them 2x4’s coming 💪🏼🇺🇸
Thanks man! It’s greatly appreciated. Hearing from hunters like like you make taking the time to video & edit every hunt well worth it. God Bless you & yours! Appreciate you. 💪🏼👊🏼
Definitely not like shooting fish in a barrel its still really hard at night with thermals and the shot is 10 times harder and judging distance and only being able to see a small section since its pitch black outside
Wayne Pressgrove Another great video, and proves you are the king of calling and hunting coyotes! I thought that I had all of your coyote howls and other calls. That Juicy Howl must be new, as I don't think I have it. It was deadly on that first group of coyotes. Is it available for purchase now?
Thanks! It’s good to hear from you. Juicy howls is new along with several other sounds. I still have to send them off for encryption before they’ll be available for purchase. We’re currently building a new website & hope to have it up by late summer/early fall. We also plan to have the new sounds including Juicy Howls ready for release at that same time. Thanks again, and hope you’re doing well. -Torry
Great video!!! Question?? I live in Virginia & the majority of our forest are thick with lots of trees & brush & thicket just like the video. I own a 12 gauge shotgun with 24” barrel & several chokes that I could use to hunt the coyotes here. What is the best choke you think for hunting coyotes & what’s a great & ammo? Also I am looking @ buying me a rifle for open field coyote hunting here in Virginia. I’m looking @ a getting a .223 or .243 caliber. Which do you think would be a better choice for coyote hunting?? Thanks. Great video.
I watched this video again for a refresher. It was helpful. The best part was the look on Jeff's face from 3:15 to 4:42. He is in the background with the look that says it all. If you have ever missed, then you can read his mind. I won't share it here because I don't want to get a strike for using profanity.
Awesome instructional video. Question, what choke tube is recommended and ethical shooting range? We do have some larger yotes up north, please keep that in mind. Appreciate the help
It may be in another one of your videos. I’ve watched tons of them, but I’ve been trying to learn the best call sequence for winter coyotes. I hunt as much as my work schedule allows and hunt several pieces of property to not burn their ears up on calls but I haven’t had much luck this year.
A good sequence to choose sounds from right now is: Lone Howls 1 series Answer with a different Lone Howl- 1 series Pair or Group Howl- 1 series Wait a 2-5 mins Social Interaction sound- 2-4 mins Pup Fight- 2-4 mins Adult Fight 2-4 mins Also mix in 3 or more different prey distress sounds randomly for 3-4 mins throughout the vocal sequence above. This sequence will target coyotes participating in the pairing & breed season as well as younger or lone coyotes not participating. Good luck!
We use several different MFK lone howls & group howls. The specific howls we used to locate with during this hunt are captioned on the screen as you’re watching. Thanks

"A cool summer morning in early June, is when the legend began, at a nameless logging camp in Wexford County, where the Manistee River ran. Eleven lumberjacks near the Garland swamp found an animal they thought was a dog. In a playful mood they chased it around till it ran inside a hollow log. A logger named Johnson grabbed him a stick and poked around inside. Then the thing let out an unearthly scream and came out and stood...upright."

You should get a couple tacticam's on the guns, that way you could splice in that video segment. It's got to be tough letting them go, if you're not on them with the camera.
I have several Tactacam’s & ran them in the past for that very reason. They’re great cameras & work well for deer, etc. They just usually aren’t fast enough for coyote hunting & if I let them record the entire stand the memory cards don’t last because I can’t delete unnecessary footage until I get home. Thanks for the idea though & appreciate you watching.

Same here. Only ever called them in for a shot at night with thermal. Only day dogs have been while deer or turkey hunting Need to give day hunting a shot
Jeff was used to thermal night hunting so the super close, fast, thick, daytime shotgunning caught him by surprise on that first stand. He adjusted quick & hurt them on the next few stands. Thanks for watching! 💪🏼👊🏼
Another great hunt Torry!! However your cameraman had his hand over the muzzle of the shotgun at the end, not good at anytime especially when antihunters and gun grabbers are looking for anything to infringe on our 2A rights.

That’s what I love to hear. Glad the videos and sounds are helping y’all out. Congrats & thanks for watching.
It amazes me that you get coyotes in that close without being totally camouflaged and just sitting on a stool.
Being still is the key. Thanks for watching.
I want to thank mfk for its excellent sounds and real game changer
Yessir. We appreciate you!
" So you're not going to work today ? "
Question I get whenever she sees me watching a new MFK video.
Haha! That’s good stuff! Just tell her you’re getting motivated for a more productive work day. Appreciate ya man!
Been watching you since the beginning I’ve learned more from y’all than any other hunting show/channel

How far would you say that group was from the gravel road when you first located? I need to get better at measuring distances via vocals
Approximately 3/4 mile with 1 mile being about as far as I can hear them this time of year in thick terrain.

Awesome instructional video.
Question, what choke tube is recommended and ethical shooting range? We do have some larger yotes up north, please keep that in mind. Appreciate the help
I’m running a .680 Indian Creek. 40-50yds is typically max range for consistent kills with most shotguns.
You guys are living the dream
We’ve been very blessed. Thanks
What choke and size shot do you use I’m fixing up a shot gun to start hunting here in Kentucky getting mating season
