- Another great train show at The Villages this weekend. We went on Saturday, on this teo day event, to see all the goodies. There were a few different train layout available which will be featured on the next video, One N scale and 2 Z scale, and some news about other places

Thanks for taking us along, Tom. I can’t wait to see the layouts and your haul.
You bet! It was a great show!
Tom:
Many thanks for sharing your video of The Villages Train Show. It helps a lot to see the type of exhibitors and the train offerings at this show. Well done!.
Thanks! It was a pretty good show.
Marx guy here, 3:43 is where I want a be. It seems that the smaller shows have more sensible prices. Aaa? The boxes on the floor are where it`s at. DON`T OVERLOOK THE JUNK! Thanks for the slow walk over the tables, I was able to get a good look at the merchandise. This N.H. Plunkersylvanian thanks you.
I always dig though the boxes on the floor, always find
some ggems in there
I got live steam traction engines myself, but I like watching the trains run. Nice stuff. Good video, but I'd like to see more prices and scale.
I'll be going to film Ridge Live Steamers in a few weeks for their Winter Event in Dundee Fl. Live Steamers from all over the country attend this yearly event
I use to go to this Train show along with the volusia county fair grounds train show a Piedmont train shows as a kid in Florida. All great shows
Still great shows
Great Coverage,Tom! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you very much
Amazing video keep them up
Glad you liked it
Cool Train show.
Thanks Jim, a lot of good stuff if you like larger scales. lol
Prices are Coo Coo!
great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Glad you enjoyed it
We recently had a train show in Columbus Ohio at the Fairgrounds. The prices were no good. Most were way too high. From what I saw on your video, this show had a lot of good prices and a lot of things. I bought nothing at our show, but I would have over spent at yours! 😂
I have found that the train shows in Florida have much more to look at and much better prices.
great vlog from train show
Thank you very much!
Great video Tom!!!
I'm about to eat some cookies and drink cold milk then I will head to my Man Cave to fix my Ho scale Bachmann Amtrak Metroliner....
Sounds great!
Nothing like a good stroll through a train swap meet. I collect ho billboard reefers, so usually walk away with a single purchase. Most of the time its the same vendors with overpriced junk.
There are some good deals to be had if you look hard enough
That is somewhat relative. LOL. I have been going to train shows on and off since I moved to Houston in 1970. I never quite figured out pricing except for the obvious. Back then, a pricing guide was your best bet. But, if I wanted something bad enough, then paying a premium was the only alternative, other than waiting for the next train show, which can become very time-consuming! For many you have to balance your time between work, family, and hobby, so for many of us, paying a bit more was the only alternative. I have some old "junkie" stuff I bought, just for their parts.
I Love The Way You Closed This Out Dont Spend Too Much On What You Dont Need, But Spend It On What You Want.
Well We Really Dont Need Any Of It, But Their Is A Fair Amount We Want. LOL I Noticed Then 4 Car O Gauge Lionel Sets
150.00 . I Got A Four Car Set Paid 400.00 Now I I Been There, Yea That Statement You Made Would Be In Effect, I Dont Need Another Set, At That Price, Get Me Two.
Thanks. I always go to these shows knowing I don't need anything, but always bring something home. There is always good deals hiding right ion front of our noses
Thanks for the video. Being in Florida myself, how do you find out about these train shows. Publications, message boards, websites ? Thanks
I have links to the most popular on my web site
Was this at The Villages between I-75 and Leesburg FL?
That's the one
Could you let me know who to contact to get on an email list so I can attend this the show
There is a sign in sheet at the show itself for notifications. You can always go to their website to find the shows or request a table. Other places to find train shows is your hobby shop or my website or watch my Wednesday Night live stream or the replays where I go over a list of the more prominent shows
Sad really moat of the items are completely unsaleable.
But people are leaving with boxes and bags full of items
I was tempted to go to this one but as I model N scale this show usually has so little N. The dealer next to Zitnik, B360 usually has a decent supply of N stuff but Zitnik always bums me out cause I know they have a huge N scale stock back in their Pinellas Park store but they never bring it to the shows, neither this one nor the Deland show. Zitnik always brings junk. Their store is such a trek for me and being prisoner to I-4 and the disaster that's Champions gate to Haines city it's not worth it.
I drive from Sebring so I have to hit that mess for anywhere I go.
