    Franz Schubert wrote the Sonata in A minor for Arpeggione and Piano, commonly referred to as the Arpeggione Sonata, tin November 1824. This arrangement of Movement 2 - Adagio and Movement 3 - Allegretto was performed by flutist Jan Boland, cellist Carey Bostian and guitarist Dave Bozenhard as part of Red Cedar Chamber Music's Makin' Music with Dave concert at First Presbyterian Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on October 4, 2014.
    Jan Boland, Executive Director of Red Cedar Chamber Music, holds a Doctorate in Musical Arts from the University of Iowa and her Method for the One-Keyed Flute, published by University of California Press is the standard text for baroque flute instruction.
    Carey Bostian is a multifaceted musician with an active performing career as the principal cellist with Orchestra Iowa, as a chamber musician with College Street Music and as a member of the Red Cedar Trio and as the conductor and artistic director of the Iowa City Community String Orchestra. Carey is also a master educator and works with string students at numerous area high schools.
    Dave Bozenhard is a multifaceted guitarist and composer from Philadelphia with a master's degree in Jazz Studies at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and an undergraduate degree in classical guitar performance. His mastery of numerous genres finds him performing with jazz big bands, blues-rock groups, jazz combos, classical chamber music groups and as a sideman for singer-songwriters.
