One of the things that I appreciate most about Blackpink's M / Vs and that everything is done to make them really realistic. In particular in this, at the beginning Jennie is really dropped down by a steel cable, the explosion is real and the big heart-shaped trap is real!

None of their mv's have green screen in them for the sets (maybe the background like in Jennie's swan moment), they're all built and it's amazing.
I was really surprised watching the making off when the bomb exploded and the girls were covered in dust and debris. I really thought... What??? Did they really explode something to make this?
Then again, I think the last two Blackpink videos have higher budgets than many motion pictures that go to the theater. Us fans are still trying to elucidate which was more expensive, Ddu-du or Kill This Love. Which is why I'd love Mr. Orme's opinion on it.

I KNOW RIGHT, thank goodness he pointed that out. Because when i first analysed the lyrics, i kept thinking about Jisoo's verse in correlation with her video mv that just cuts to her face upside down then rightside up again. 😂 lol. I was already unsatisfied with her second verse with the flaming arrow not giving us a clear view of jisoo's two dresses too, and then weirded out by the nonsensical cuts of the reflection scene. so props to the youtuber for pointing that out and giving us a new meaning to interpret the lyrics!!

Around 2:20 Jennie breaks the heart open right before Lisa kicks the door open. They were both opening something differant but the editing transitioned those scenes very well. I thought that transition was cool because it was so smooth. BTW I'm a new subscriber. love your videos because you react to mvs with a professional and informative view, which is very refreshing.

Kill this Love for example is trying to fight and escape from this toxic "love" before it eats you alive. The MV gives you hints on the meaning of the song you just have to take a closer look.
