Chilli Paneer | Quick And Simple Recipe In Urdu/Hindhi | Simply Samina

  • As most of you know from TikTok I cook live and my followers enjoy the vibes :)
    This session was done in Urdu. Here is a quick and simple Chilli Paneer recipe for us busy women who want to make delicious food for their families without compromising on flavour:
    Ingredients:
    - 200g paneer, cut into cubes (I had a larger pack hence ingredients more)
    - 1 onion, sliced in square shapes I used both red and white onion
    - 1 capsicum, sliced in square shapes
    - 2-3 green/red chillies, sliced
    - 1 tbsp soy sauce
    - 1 tbsp chilli sauce
    - 2 tbsp tomato ketchup/passata
    - 1 tsp coarse black pepper
    - 1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
    - 1 tsp curry powder
    - Salt to taste
    - Oil for cooking or I used Ghee (pure butter)
    Instructions:
    1. Heat oil/ghee in a pan and fry the paneer cubes until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
    2. In the same pan, add a little more oil/ghee if needed and sauté the onions, capsicum, and green chillies until slightly softened.
    3. Add the soy sauce, chilli sauce, tomato ketchup/passata, all the spices, and salt. Mix well.
    4. Add the fried paneer cubes and toss everything together until well coated.
    5. Add a couple of table spoons of hot water, cook for a few more minutes until the paneer is heated through and the flavors are well combined.
    6. Serve hot with steamed rice, noodles or rotis.
