Nicely done Fast Charlie I take the clip off the same way they're real SOBs I'm not all of these old yales buddy. I forgot to get back to Cameron and tell him how to take the clip off but you did the job thank you sir LOL.
Good editing here. The tail & retention clip on my cylinder just falls right out. Is that suppose to happen? I'm thinking that if that happens in the door when the cylinder is installed, the lock won't be able to unlock when the key is inserted, then I'll be locked out.
Don'z Lockz - if you come across one, especially with the tailpiece still in it, you should film your first attempt and release it as a boring comedy with the suspense of impending injury - that what mine would have been!! That pinning tray box is so helpful and convenient when you know you need to bring the basics.

Great explanation and demonstration of removing that Yale tail clip. I haven't encountered one yet.

Nice job on picking that lock, I know they are tricky
Thank you for this! I still haven't been able to get mine off, but somehow I almost missed this video. I'll try again when I get home.
Nicely picked.
Sweet pick

Expert pick and info, thanks :)
Luckily, I have not come across those clips. I hope to get one of those cool 3D boxes but I want the better one that you suggested.😅🍺🤞

@@fastcharlie4054 haha, great idea. Then I can stab myself and bleed profusely on camera.😅 Sounds like a good plan.😉✌
not really picking the lock, you're already inside if you have the hardware in your hand. smh
