You may think it´s boring, but it sure ain´t flat. It´s in key and on point. And ofcourse it doesn´t have the same feeling and "pain" as Doug. He was homeless and an addict for many years and he even wrote the song. That should be obvious. Her version is just another flawer, and the original is still there to enjoy, so no need to be one or the other. It´s not like she recorded it and said it was her song.

Nothing flat about her version . Excellent voice but I don't think anybody can compare with Doug Seeger that song is his soul
Nope. Only Doug Seegers can sing this the way it needs to be sung! It's his song not hers!
