Exactly, and iv looked at the lineup. A lot of the teams in the bottom 7-12 are all playing each other over the next few weeks so that means at least half of those teams are guaranteed at least 1 or maybe 2 wins .

The Finals system is flawed, 8 teams out of 12 qualify, should be 4 teams going through.
Had to be like this to placate the ARU. I wouldn't mind seeing top 6 go through (1 and 2 can take a rest week) as it would mean the more difficult conference isnt so disadvantaged. That's the real problem tbh.
Its all about Money
8 teams makes it more fun. previous seasons top 4-6 were pretty much set with many rounds to go. top 8 means that the lower teams still be motivated to give everything they got in the last few rounds

Give Tamati Ellison a go at coaching or someone that'll punish the lads at training for ill discipline and mistakes. And bring in one of the young Linwood boys to play at 10

It still feels like Penny really doesn't have a functional plan for this Crusaders team. It's been bad from the get go and the flailing tells me he is totally out of ideas.

The Breakdown is always fun to watch. Even better when they debate or disagree on certain points. Makes this more intersting. Justin being on here was pretty good. These four analysts are really good too. 😊.
And yet again they talk more about a team in DEAD LAST than the team who went to Fiji, thrashed the Drua who barely loses at home, with a the 2nd string down to 13 men and unbeaten on top of table...

If you watch the breakdown for actual analysis , I suggest to stop. They talk about what they want and often it means not focusing on anything.
@Rayzajw na the breakdown is more a guilty pleasure then something I take seriously. It's just become even more blatantly obvious how bad their takes are this year than other years.

When they talked about who sould be secure for long term, few crossed my mind and as a Canes fan, I’d be biased towards more Canes. Here’s my non Canes list of who I think should sealed the long term contract through to 2027 RWC.

Not good enough from the saders if they're being held to their normal standards. I guess it's not easy losing the players they have, and on top of that they've lost coaching staff. Not sure there's any franchise could absorb those sort of losses.
Hurricanes only have 2 regular All Blacks in their team this year, and they have a brand new coach that’s just moved over from a different sport yet they’re undefeated !!

@@MatW4606 not an excuse, just an observation from a non crusaders supporter. They're NZ's most successful franchise, not one hit wonders(and I'm not suggesting that the canes are either). Been a great season from the Hurricanes.

For me, Frizzell isn't close to Kaino. Squires was far, far better than Frizzell as well. I'm glad Squires looked after is mental health, but we missed out on a quality player.

Lack of penetration from the forwards, the attacking prowess of past years has diminished greatly.
This will take more than a rebuild strategy and it won’t come from replacing coaches.
Getting into the playoffs is not going to happen this season.
Mentally they must be suffering and they will rebound, that’s part of Crusaders dna.
Fans need to front up at as many games as possible.

'Saders will recover. Maybe not this year. But they will. Years of incredibly hard work put into getting their systems on-field and off right, will retunr them to the top in due course. But as a long-suffering Blues fan... I am loving the feeling of wallowing in the misery of crusaders fans despair. i'll be okay after one season of it.... maybe two......
