I don't see anybody talk about this, but the imagery of Miyabi's mother saving her from the shadows, followed by her mother being enveloped by those shadowy hands in the shape of a sphere, followed by the immediate transition to the Tailless spirit watching Miyabi as she sleeps makes me believe that spirit *is* her mother to some extent. This also lines up with some things from chapter 5, but I won't get into spoilers.
Iam calling it. Hoshimi Miyabi is Raiden Mei in a Fox girl body with the lore of Kiana Kaslana. While her mother is giving me both the vibes of Cecilia- similarly both mothers wanted thier child to grow up normal, and Himeko who like Miyabi's mother is also a great mentor to them while also dying because of the very person they cared the most loses control albeit both Kiana and Miyabi doesn't wanted it in the first place.
Oh it's different song from the one in animated short..... i hope they release that song too.... i wouldn't mind having two new banger to add to my playlist

There is english subtitles for the song in that EP video, in case you dont know and want see it later lucio. But yeah, im happy zzz consistent on releasing EP or song so often, the art and animations remind me how interesting it os when the game announced and first beta released
