Honestly I get some of this, but some of it I don’t get. Husbands should be prayerful too and not take their wife’s faithfulness for granted. If a husband is to love his wife as Christ loved the church, she should be able to rest in that love. The husband here took a vow. The wife did too. Did anyone tell her that she would be having to be insecure but her husband wouldn’t.
