My friend, who hates metal, said he can sing rap god in every way possible so I challenged him to do this. He spent the next month figuring out how to scream and now he is a metal head. I am so proud of him.
ive loved rock my whole life and still cant figure out distortion.. i got everything else, the voice and the lungs but not distortion its sad... in case you dont know distortion is what turns a scream into a rock scream
Spartan in my experience its easiest if you basically growl like a dog then work on controlling it. Get good control, add more force behind the air coming from your diaphragm
I dont think people realize the amount of stress that shane is putting on his vocals here In this song. Even just screaming the majority of the lyrics throughout a song takes a lot of lung capacity... but to combine that with the speed in which hes singing - that is nothing but raw fucking talent.
Dude sscreaming fast is soooo difficult, it takes some crazy endurance because of all the air you have to push out. Would be even more impressive if he did it all with lows.

The lead screamer killed it. That man is mad talented. The woman has a beautiful angelic voice too. All in all overall this band is amazing and I hope they reach their full potential and become famous worldwide and I hope they get some well deserved radio air time.
