The 2024-2025 Volkl skis collection features, yes, another edition of the famed Mantra. The M7, the seventh generation Mantra, features slight refinements to the M6. Plus, Volkl rolls out updated Blaze skis, new art for the athlete series Revolt skis, and a fresh collection of all-mountain carvers: Peregrine. Alex is here to take you through the full lineup.

From a visual standpoint, those Peregrine (sp?) are as badass-looking as a ski can get. If they ski as good as they look. this ski is an absolute winner.

They are hideously ugly. Moment has great looks. Nordica has great looks. Volkl needs to fire their topsheet designer.

So are you saying the Mantra M7 is the only ski that underwent a construction update from this line? Meaning, the Kendo 88 is still the same ski other than the name and topsheet change? Thanks!
"So Kendo 88 becomes Mantra 88, and Katana 108 the Mantra 108. Volkl confirmed these skis aren’t changing in construction this year, just a new name."

You've got it! We're assuming these other skis will get the 4 Radius Drive and new carbon tailoring in the future, but for 24/25 they'll be the same as the inline product (with a new name and graphic upodate). -Alex

Are there any changes how Peregrines ski compared to Deacons? Or is it just renaming the series?

So aside from Peregrine 82 and 80, Peregrine is just a new name. All those carvers return, just a new name. The Peregrine 82 and 80 still deliever a lot of the same carving performance, with just a touch of more all-mountain versatility. The 82 is more demanding than the 80. We're going to spend more time on them here soon! -Alex
