Orthoglass actually recommends YOU DO NOT use web roll under their splinting material, as it is made with material that will wick water away from the skin. If you use web roll that will absorb the water and keep it on the skin for a prolonged period.
My son ended up taking his split off and was crying over bumps on his skin and this is his 2nd splint. I saw the bumps and he said the bumps was burning. The 2nd lady used a webbed sleeve and that cause blisters on his arm, and I'm assuming that's what it was because the first lady put cotton and no blisters formed on his arm.
I got a splint on my finger, except its not that. its metal on the outside, cotton inside, has a little bit of a tightening (looks like a gingerbread man) and i dont like it (its my first day i just got it)
