I've always relied on a variable ND filter for video work, but I've encountered issues like vignetting and cross-vignetting at certain stops. After watching this review, I'm convinced that solid ND filters might be the better choice for me. hi! just want to check if the magnetism is secure... ive seen some others saying how the magnet is very weak and the filter falls off quite easily. also, will i be able to put the lens cap on if i have the magnetic portion attached? thanks!
Never had an issue with the filters coming off, so I wouldn't worry about that. As for lens cap, unfortunately no. But they do sell one here: www.kentfaith.co.uk/KF04.068_55mm-magnetic-metal-lens-caps-works-only-with-kf-concept-magnetic-filters?tracking=65c2f7cb7a515
PS, you need to get ONE step up ring rather than the 15 thousand like you have. You should have the smallest amount of space between your filter and the lens to prevent glare and reflections and such
@@JackWoodhams the interior surface from using so many step up rings is reflective (compared to a lot of non-step up ring adapters - often matte / flocked etc to reduce reflections)
@@mousbleu I have no clue because it's a non issue for the kind of stuff I'm shooting. These filters make zero difference to my image quality. At the end of the day sounds like you're a camera snob who thinks they're a no it all. Seeing as your work isnt out out there like mine is all you can do is troll behind a fake account. Maybe id take your opinion more seriously if you had a valid argument Vs just spouting useless info that doesn't apply to my experience. Nerdsplaining 😂
Step up ring stacking is only an issue on a super wide angle lens, if you notice, there's no vignetting, no problem = not an issue. You learned something new today.

Or the simple explaination is that you are you just too cheap to pay for step up rings that fits your need, and you rather pay cheap 10$ kits with 10 rings to stack and look stupid. Because some picture on Aliexpress showed you can doesn't mean it's the right way, Mr. Pro.

I'd personally never advise stacking filters and haven't tried so I'm not sure.
