I don't know if anybody remembers, but there was a kit car conversation of a dp Porsche body on a VW bug. This car is making me remember high school days. Thanks for finding this beautiful car and bringing it back to life.
“Roberto was in the import business… back in the day…. in Miami” 😂😂 I love the Miami car scene because of the stories like this. If you see an older dude in a older model luxury or exotic car and he says he’s the original owner he has stories for days!
Completely rad and great backstory. I'm sure this was handy for the import/export business back in the day. I'd love to own a dp Motorsports 928, I've only seen pictures of them. Love the Clarion stack as well!
There is a small Porsche repair shop in the Dallas/Fort Worth area that has the proper parts to modify your A/C to work as it should.I can't remember the name but they fitted new parts of their design to my 930 about 12 years ago and it works in the hottest Texas summers (110 in July and Aug.)! The best mod to this car I've ever made!
WOW man... I am an old guy and these were the cars that made me think flashy cars boats ect were the way to go! Thx fer dumping the dough into making this shine!
What a blast from the past with the Clarion system. It had a true 160WRMS (2 80W amps). Included the G-80C Controller , G-80D Tape Deck , G-80TVF Tuner and GA-505 Amp Unit. System also included that remote. I had a fully restored Mustang GT during that time with a Kenwood KRC-8001 headunit which was really state of the art at that time. A dual 4" door setup in the factory 4x10 location and some 3 way 6x9s. Just with head unit power the car sound great even windows down.
Garage of dreams 💯 Awesome exhaust popping and kudos to the rebuilding, well done! I hope it has a dial of death beneath that lovely clarion tower as well. Hot rod!🔥
What a gorgeous car - If you wouldn't have taken the restoration on it would have been lost forever - I never knew these cars existed at all - well done
My favorite car of all time. I built a few clones back in the 90s. Mostly metal 930 slantnose since the metal add on was cheap. Dp parts was expensive.
The driveway of dreams. Just amazing. The clarion old school head unit was cool and a good find for the new one. Diablo looked wicked in the background
