shortly after Carrie Fisher passed there was a man at a Comicon selling fake "autographed" photos of her. He was reported by some friends of mine but they were ignored. eventually Anthony Daniels ( the actor who is C3PO) saw them and he was absolutely LIVID. people who profit from this kind of loss are the lowest. but unless someone with a whole lot of clout complains it will continue to go unchecked. thank you for continuing to call these people out.

It’s one thing to go to a location that’s haunted by “A lady in white,” or a lost schoolgirl, etc. Don’t go to graves of recently deceased celebrities whose immediate families are very much alive.
Doing spirit box at a celebrity's grave/memorial spot is just as disgusting as people using them for photo shoot locations. Yup, it happens. Years ago I visited Brandon and Bruce Lee's gravestones to pay respect and leave flowers and saw a Eric Draven cosplayer using the area as a photoshoot area in full costume. Made my blood ran cold.
I went there, too, with my bro. He's a big fan of Bruce Lee and wanted to visit his grave. We were sight seeing around Seattle and taking pics. Only our pics from that cemetery had odd white whisps in them. No faces or anything, just white wisps.

I watch Dalen- “The Graveyard shift” - he’s never had any experience with ghost hunting until the ghost brothers came in TV. He’s respectful and he never says they are truly speaking to anyone. He’s brought a community together and 95% of people know they have no clue to what is actually happening with what we hear outta the spirit box app. He does true crime and also rates ghost videos. He’s pure entertainment. But I do like your take on things.
If ghosts exist, and there’s zero proof they do, why on Earth would they be at the place their bodies are laid to rest? They have no connection to the place other than maybe when their loved ones are there. Take out the fact it’s really disrespectful, it’s just plain pointless.
I hate "investigators" that shows up all "We come here respectfully~" then immediately demand a reaction from them. Let alone the fact that they show up during opening hours and disturb the peace of the graveyard for visitors. The majority of Dalens channel is him going to old cemetery’s and using the box. He goes to obscure places old slave graves etc. hometown type stuff. He makes no claims as to himself having any special powers. He’s just curious and using what he knows to see what he can find. He’s trying to figure it out. The famous graves he has visited is very few. Mostly old cemetery’s. People follow him because of his personality and silliness. Ghost brothers is a show he was on with two friends here in the states. They actually did investigations. They were also on fright club with Jack Osborn. Dalen doesn’t claim to be a pro or know what or who he’s talking to. I think he’s a Christian and has good intentions. I guess that’s up for debate as to what is or is not appropriate. If you watch his vids he clearly stops when he sees anyone in his vicinity. He also leaves and comes back as to not bother people visiting. Clearly I’ve watched tons of his vids. Mainly because he’s a nice guy not because he’s claiming anything special but his beliefs personally are based on his faith. Don’t agree with his method. I get that. But he’s genuinely a good guy. Ghost Brothers used to be aired on the Travel Channel here in the US and they were really funny & fun to watch.. now Dalen does YT & I think the others join him every now & then, but he mostly does cemeteries now instead of haunted locations.

What gets on my goat is the total disrespect. He’s not a detective. Matthew died in horrific circumstances and no one will ever truly know what happened to him. Don’t get me started on him dissing Debbie and Carrie. Carrie died suddenly and Debbie truly died of a broken heart from losing her daughter. When I heard what her last words were years ago it was her just wanting to be with Carrie and she had a stroke a few hours later. I don’t know what irritates me more. When I was first going to comment I decided not to because you said everything I was thinking. Then I had one more: when I was a little boy I walked over a gravesite to get to a deceased relative's grave and my mom taught me by a not so light thump on my head to never do that again. Disrespect is bad enough, she said, but at a burial site it is the worst.
Beardo, Dalen is truly a nice guy and he really does try and be respectful. He doesn’t look or act annoyed to be honest sometimes people stop and want his autograph or to ask to sit in etc. He doesn’t stay long because he knows other people are there to some so the same thing or some to visit relatives. Btw when he says Mr Matthew it’s a southern thing we say out of respect. A lot of cemeteries here in America especially the ones that have celebrities are locked at night so going at night sometimes isn’t possible. Ghost Brothers used to be on the Travel Channel and when they let quite a few paranormal groups go. They are super close friends and work well together. Ghost Brothers was a tv show on Destination America in 2016. In 2019 the show became a spinoff called Ghost Brothers: Haunted Houseguests. I don’t believe either show is on tv anymore. I believe Gallen said it was cancelled, but don’t quote me.

If some ghost hunter from the internet made a video at one of my relative’s graves, they’d see an unpleasant side of me. There are any number of ways to make paranormal content with disrespecting the dead at their gravesites.

In the South it is common to use Mr., Mrs., or Miss before a first name as a matter of respect. My husband and I lived in a small southern town. My husband's name is Houston, and I was called Mrs. Houston
having had one of my children pass on, i would have been livid if i went to visit and there was someone there doing that crap, not only is it disrespectful, it is downright unethical.
The Ghost Brothers used to be on Discovery/Travel Channel. And they are still available on Discovery Plus. I think they're more entertaining and funny than serious.

I’ve watched his videos and he never turns on the speaker and spirit box or anything like that if anyone is around….Not that this is an ok thing to do, but I’m just throwing it out there that he’s never done any of these sessions, that I’ve witnessed, if there’s anyone within earshot whatsoever….. I think it’s a line I wouldn’t want to tread, doing something many view as disrespectful, in the most respectful way he can. Honestly, if I saw someone running a spirit box in my grandparents cemetery, I wouldn’t be offended, only because I view it as a body without the soul there and think cemeteries are just a coping mechanism for the living. People like him seriously disgust me. He filmed the graves of real people without consent of the relatives, he visits a graveyard where real people are grieving for loved ones and he is performing his scamming voodoo at the grave of a person who has not passed away long ago. How you view him is how you view him, but he doesn’t have bad intentions. He was on a few different shows on the Travel Channel here in the states, and like most of the shows on there, they were canceled for some reason or another, but they’ve all migrated to RUclips. He doesn’t claim anything, he’s just curious like a lot of us who watch his content and he’s entertaining. He’s never irritated or aggravated. If he doesn’t get anything he moves on, if he someone walks over, he respectfully moves out of the way. He’s actually flown out to meet fans who wanted to have sessions with their loved ones. Him addressing Matthews as Mr.Perry is a respect thing. He’s from the southern United States just like me, and a lot of us were raised to address people as Mr & Mrs so & so depending on age, position, etc. He does other things besides the spirit box on here, but he’s not a bad guy.
I 100% agree with you Beardo on this, One of my special interest is Taphophile (A strong interest in cemeteries, gravestones, the history and the art they represent).. I find it extremely disrespectful that people go and do spirit boxes and investigate certain famous graves day or night, or they invade crypts and vaults and expose the bodies and skeleton for views and likes. Graveyards are beautiful but I wish people would treat modern cemeteries and abandoned cemeteries with respect. I go to the cemeteries to walk around and admire the art, the history and respect the dead.
I remember this clearly, about 33 maybe 34 years ago, my best friend (who passed only a few yrs later, right after we graduated) spent the night and the next morning we went for a walk. We decided to take the roundabout way anywhere through old fields and areas near the river, well, we got in pretty far when we found an old cemetery that had been forgotten or something. The gravestones were all broken and unreadable, trees had been growing for years by the size of them (not fully grown but not saplings either) it was basically overrun and forgotten. We got some our friends and over the summer we tried to clean it up, just to show some respect for whoever it was that had been buried there. We were working on it one Saturday afternoon, there were about 10 of us there that day, when a few cop cars come charging in. Someone (we think the owners of the factory nearby, you'll get it in a moment) called in on us for trespassing. We showed what we were doing and what was there so the cops let us go with warnings. But then strangely, that area was then sold to said factory (now out of business) , bulldozed and a storage building put there over the old graves. At least that's what we always figured happened because nobody ever heard of them moving the graves somewhere else. Chances are it was an old family gravesite considering where I am and the history of the area (if you've seen the movie True Grit, you've seen where it is) but it was still the final resting place of people but I guess we were the bad guys for wanting to show respect to those who passed. Well, either that or the cops in this area are notoriously in the pocket of any business owner as are the elected officials.

Firstly, I want to say thank you for actually caring even all those years ago about a old forgotten abandoned cemetery and caring enough to do something about it, like gathering friends to attempt to cleaning up and showing some respect for the dead. I just want to say Thank you for showing that heart for those who have perished before us and left without respect shown by the elected officials for years or respect shown by their country for years. Unfortunately, the law thinks it own what ever land it wants and that is not right, Trespassing and criminal charged for entering an abandoned and forgotten cemeteries, seriously this need to stop with the elected officials and the country governments because why put laws on a place that they given up on for years because that cemetery is no longer a profitable market for the deaths for them. It is the elected officials and the country government that show the less respect to the dead, because to them Death is just a multi-million/ multi-billions yearly profit to them and the funeral industry, just because they aren't profiting from the dead in an unused cemetery. Im not familiar with Dalen's work, but calling someone "Mr/Miss (First name here)" like Mr. Matthew is very common practice in the southern/southeastern states (oddly, it isnt used with Mrs). It is considered "informally respectful" and is used in day-to-day interactions vs. the "Mr/Ms/Mrs (Last Name)" which would be used in formal settings. Using first names only is usually restricted to friends, peers and family of the same age or younger. Many in the SE US dont care for and/or actively avoid using of their government names. That tradition stays within families, even as they go further out of the SE US. Cheers!
You are correct. Dalen is from Tx and now lives outside of Atlanta, Ga. He is actually very kind and respectful everywhere he goes and he enjoys doing this and seeing if something comes up or not. The one thing I like about him is he just has fun and he literally doesn’t say a bad word about anyone else in the paranormal community. Which is kind of sad to see him getting so trashed in this video.

I’d have to agree also. These cemetery sessions aren’t anything I’d do personally, but he doesn’t do it if there’s anyone at all in sight or within earshot. I also think how cemeteries are viewed can vary drastically depending on region, tradition etc. I wouldn’t take offense to this but that’s because I’ve always viewed cemeteries as a place for the living to visit and memorialize, buried bodies with souls that have moved on. Damaging headstones, defacing the property is disrespectful, but not so much this…just in my opinion…❤

Also, he makes no claims that what he picks up on his device are 💯 factual. He acknowledges up front we have no way of knowing for sure it really is the person who comes through the equipment He makes no claims of being psychic or having any special abilities. He stops his recordings when other people are in the area visiting their loved ones out of respect. He will post videos where his questions are not answered in the way he had hoped rather than editing them to be something they aren't. Also, his channel is self-funded, although some subscribers do make donations. The name of his channel is The Graveyard Shift. If you choose to watch another video of his I'd suggest the session with a survivor of the Jonestown massacre. In the interest of full transparency I'm subscribed to his channel and watch frequently. I am also subscribed to your channel because I absolutely believe there are many bad actors who deserve to be called out. Be well.

Beardo normally i totally agree with you. But Dalen did a session with a living member of jim jones. She lost her brother and sister, and it was so sad. Listen to the gal talk about what happened was heartbreaking. Normally, I am with u 100 percent, but please look this investigation up. It may show u a different side. He has gone where there were no names to the gaves, just numbers of dates of birth and death.. he cleaned many graves and washed them. Very respectful. I do think going to mathew perry's grave was a bad move..

He isn't annoyed with people walking in and out of the area, he knows what they are doing but, he also knows how it looks to other people if he is sitting there talking out loud and asking questions to a gravesite. I used to watch a lot of Dalen's vids but, then he started doing the "did we just solve this case" stuff and it pushed me away but, through it all he has never did anything disrespectful, he even has talked about how he knows people are gonna be in the same area he is and he just is trying to show kindness and respect to everyone.

It's a pet peeve of mine that people contact celebrities/murder victims etc that have passed. I'm sorry to say it, but a fault in a lot of paranormal investgators is their lack of mystical knowledge. Knowing what I know about death states in various faiths and religions, it's just disrespectful to try to summon them for views. If a soul has passed the trauma stage of death, it will be moving forward with its progression towards rebirth or reunion. This again, is a confusing time as they have to journey through their old life to break through the attachment to that life. To risk pulling them away from this journey, especially if they're still in a state of confusion is just wrong. It's kind of like trying to get someone who is badly concussed to talk to you. Lastly, investigating graveyards, it pays to know which graves are actually 'active' and 'inactive' graves and then you would ask permission to make contact. These were once people, let's not forget.

It looks like he's at Forest Lawn Cemetary in Los Angeles...we were there in October to pay our respects to Paul Walker... Never once did it occur to us to do something like that...we brought flowers...said a little prayer...said hello to Paul...and said he had a nice place there....Forest Lawn is massive...and the workers there won't reveal the locations to the celebrities buried there..bit a Google search usually will tell you... It’s one thing to go to a location that’s haunted by “A lady in white,” or a lost schoolgirl, etc. Don’t go to graves of recently deceased celebrities whose immediate families are very much alive.
Doing spirit box at a celebrity's grave/memorial spot is just as disgusting as people using them for photo shoot locations. Yup, it happens. Years ago I visited Brandon and Bruce Lee's gravestones to pay respect and leave flowers and saw a Eric Draven cosplayer using the area as a photoshoot area in full costume. Made my blood ran cold.
I went there, too, with my bro. He's a big fan of Bruce Lee and wanted to visit his grave. We were sight seeing around Seattle and taking pics. Only our pics from that cemetery had odd white whisps in them. No faces or anything, just white wisps.

I watch Dalen- “The Graveyard shift” - he’s never had any experience with ghost hunting until the ghost brothers came in TV. He’s respectful and he never says they are truly speaking to anyone. He’s brought a community together and 95% of people know they have no clue to what is actually happening with what we hear outta the spirit box app. He does true crime and also rates ghost videos. He’s pure entertainment. But I do like your take on things.

The majority of Dalens channel is him going to old cemetery’s and using the box. He goes to obscure places old slave graves etc. hometown type stuff. He makes no claims as to himself having any special powers. He’s just curious and using what he knows to see what he can find. He’s trying to figure it out. The famous graves he has visited is very few. Mostly old cemetery’s. People follow him because of his personality and silliness. Ghost brothers is a show he was on with two friends here in the states. They actually did investigations. They were also on fright club with Jack Osborn. Dalen doesn’t claim to be a pro or know what or who he’s talking to. I think he’s a Christian and has good intentions. I guess that’s up for debate as to what is or is not appropriate. If you watch his vids he clearly stops when he sees anyone in his vicinity. He also leaves and comes back as to not bother people visiting. Clearly I’ve watched tons of his vids. Mainly because he’s a nice guy not because he’s claiming anything special but his beliefs personally are based on his faith. Don’t agree with his method. I get that. But he’s genuinely a good guy. Ghost Brothers used to be aired on the Travel Channel here in the US and they were really funny & fun to watch.. now Dalen does YT & I think the others join him every now & then, but he mostly does cemeteries now instead of haunted locations.

He does have videos who he collaborates with (can't think of the guys name) and that was somewhat interesting. It offers the history of places and walks through some of the areas. When I was first going to comment I decided not to because you said everything I was thinking. Then I had one more: when I was a little boy I walked over a gravesite to get to a deceased relative's grave and my mom taught me by a not so light thump on my head to never do that again. Beardo, Dalen is truly a nice guy and he really does try and be respectful. He doesn’t look or act annoyed to be honest sometimes people stop and want his autograph or to ask to sit in etc. He doesn’t stay long because he knows other people are there to some so the same thing or some to visit relatives. Btw when he says Mr Matthew it’s a southern thing we say out of respect. A lot of cemeteries here in America especially the ones that have celebrities are locked at night so going at night sometimes isn’t possible. Ghost Brothers used to be on the Travel Channel and when they let quite a few paranormal groups go. They are super close friends and work well together. I am not trying to be combative at all, I just wanted to throw these things out there. Love watching your channel

Ghost Brothers was a tv show on Destination America in 2016. In 2019 the show became a spinoff called Ghost Brothers: Haunted Houseguests. I don’t believe either show is on tv anymore. I believe Gallen said it was cancelled, but don’t quote me.

In the South it is common to use Mr., Mrs., or Miss before a first name as a matter of respect. My husband and I lived in a small southern town. My husband's name is Houston, and I was called Mrs. Houston
having had one of my children pass on, i would have been livid if i went to visit and there was someone there doing that crap, not only is it disrespectful, it is downright unethical.

I’ve watched his videos and he never turns on the speaker and spirit box or anything like that if anyone is around….Not that this is an ok thing to do, but I’m just throwing it out there that he’s never done any of these sessions, that I’ve witnessed, if there’s anyone within earshot whatsoever….. I think it’s a line I wouldn’t want to tread, doing something many view as disrespectful, in the most respectful way he can.
Honestly, if I saw someone running a spirit box in my grandparents cemetery, I wouldn’t be offended, only because I view it as a body without the soul there and think cemeteries are just a coping mechanism for the living.

How you view him is how you view him, but he doesn’t have bad intentions. He was on a few different shows on the Travel Channel here in the states, and like most of the shows on there, they were canceled for some reason or another, but they’ve all migrated to RUclips. He doesn’t claim anything, he’s just curious like a lot of us who watch his content and he’s entertaining. He’s never irritated or aggravated. If he doesn’t get anything he moves on, if he someone walks over, he respectfully moves out of the way. He’s actually flown out to meet fans who wanted to have sessions with their loved ones. Him addressing Matthews as Mr.Perry is a respect thing. He’s from the southern United States just like me, and a lot of us were raised to address people as Mr & Mrs so & so depending on age, position, etc. He does other things besides the spirit box on here, but he’s not a bad guy.
I 100% agree with you Beardo on this, One of my special interest is Taphophile (A strong interest in cemeteries, gravestones, the history and the art they represent).. I find it extremely disrespectful that people go and do spirit boxes and investigate certain famous graves day or night, or they invade crypts and vaults and expose the bodies and skeleton for views and likes. Graveyards are beautiful but I wish people would treat modern cemeteries and abandoned cemeteries with respect. I go to the cemeteries to walk around and admire the art, the history and respect the dead.
I remember this clearly, about 33 maybe 34 years ago, my best friend (who passed only a few yrs later, right after we graduated) spent the night and the next morning we went for a walk. We decided to take the roundabout way anywhere through old fields and areas near the river, well, we got in pretty far when we found an old cemetery that had been forgotten or something. The gravestones were all broken and unreadable, trees had been growing for years by the size of them (not fully grown but not saplings either) it was basically overrun and forgotten. We got some our friends and over the summer we tried to clean it up, just to show some respect for whoever it was that had been buried there. We were working on it one Saturday afternoon, there were about 10 of us there that day, when a few cop cars come charging in. Someone (we think the owners of the factory nearby, you'll get it in a moment) called in on us for trespassing. We showed what we were doing and what was there so the cops let us go with warnings. But then strangely, that area was then sold to said factory (now out of business) , bulldozed and a storage building put there over the old graves. At least that's what we always figured happened because nobody ever heard of them moving the graves somewhere else. Chances are it was an old family gravesite considering where I am and the history of the area (if you've seen the movie True Grit, you've seen where it is) but it was still the final resting place of people but I guess we were the bad guys for wanting to show respect to those who passed. Well, either that or the cops in this area are notoriously in the pocket of any business owner as are the elected officials.

Firstly, I want to say thank you for actually caring even all those years ago about a old forgotten abandoned cemetery and caring enough to do something about it, like gathering friends to attempt to cleaning up and showing some respect for the dead. I just want to say Thank you for showing that heart for those who have perished before us and left without respect shown by the elected officials for years or respect shown by their country for years. Unfortunately, the law thinks it own what ever land it wants and that is not right, Trespassing and criminal charged for entering an abandoned and forgotten cemeteries, seriously this need to stop with the elected officials and the country governments because why put laws on a place that they given up on for years because that cemetery is no longer a profitable market for the deaths for them. It is the elected officials and the country government that show the less respect to the dead, because to them Death is just a multi-million/ multi-billions yearly profit to them and the funeral industry, just because they aren't profiting from the dead in an unused cemetery. Like am sorry to anyone and your welcome to disagree with me on this, but I think as a citizen of a country, I should have the right to say.. If we are responsible to respect the dead as a society , Look after and clean the cemeteries with help of paid workers, then we are also responsible to show respect to the dead as a society in these long abandoned and forgotten cemeteries that may still have family living today, or someone looks up their family tree and wants to actively seek out the graves of their relatives. Im not familiar with Dalen's work, but calling someone "Mr/Miss (First name here)" like Mr. Matthew is very common practice in the southern/southeastern states (oddly, it isnt used with Mrs). It is considered "informally respectful" and is used in day-to-day interactions vs. the "Mr/Ms/Mrs (Last Name)" which would be used in formal settings. Using first names only is usually restricted to friends, peers and family of the same age or younger. Many in the SE US dont care for and/or actively avoid using of their government names. That tradition stays within families, even as they go further out of the SE US. Cheers!

You are correct. Dalen is from Tx and now lives outside of Atlanta, Ga. He is actually very kind and respectful everywhere he goes and he enjoys doing this and seeing if something comes up or not. The one thing I like about him is he just has fun and he literally doesn’t say a bad word about anyone else in the paranormal community. Which is kind of sad to see him getting so trashed in this video.

I’d have to agree also. These cemetery sessions aren’t anything I’d do personally, but he doesn’t do it if there’s anyone at all in sight or within earshot. I also think how cemeteries are viewed can vary drastically depending on region, tradition etc. I wouldn’t take offense to this but that’s because I’ve always viewed cemeteries as a place for the living to visit and memorialize, buried bodies with souls that have moved on. Damaging headstones, defacing the property is disrespectful, but not so much this…just in my opinion…❤
@BeardoGetsScared I do hope you watch some of Dalen's other videos. As one of the comments above said he is truly one of the most respectful "ghost hunters" out there. Also, he makes no claims that what he picks up on his device are 💯 factual. He acknowledges up front we have no way of knowing for sure it really is the person who comes through the equipment He makes no claims of being psychic or having any special abilities.
He stops his recordings when other people are in the area visiting their loved ones out of respect. He will post videos where his questions are not answered in the way he had hoped rather than editing them to be something they aren't.
Also, his channel is self-funded, although some subscribers do make donations. The name of his channel is The Graveyard Shift. If you choose to watch another video of his I'd suggest the session with a survivor of the Jonestown massacre.
In the interest of full transparency I'm subscribed to his channel and watch frequently.

He isn't annoyed with people walking in and out of the area, he knows what they are doing but, he also knows how it looks to other people if he is sitting there talking out loud and asking questions to a gravesite.

It's a pet peeve of mine that people contact celebrities/murder victims etc that have passed. I'm sorry to say it, but a fault in a lot of paranormal investgators is their lack of mystical knowledge.
Knowing what I know about death states in various faiths and religions, it's just disrespectful to try to summon them for views.
If a soul has passed the trauma stage of death, it will be moving forward with its progression towards rebirth or reunion.
This again, is a confusing time as they have to journey through their old life to break through the attachment to that life.

Never once did it occur to us to do something like that...we brought flowers...said a little prayer...said hello to Paul...and said he had a nice place there....Forest Lawn is massive...and the workers there won't reveal the locations to the celebrities buried there..bit a Google search usually will tell you...

This is pathetic. I used to watch The Ghost Brothers on the Travel channel, and I enjoyed their first season. But this and now? Why would anyone call Dalen to 'ghost bust' their house, except to be on camera? And those instruments he's using are just so tedious anymore. I know Dalen's a good guy and all that, but I agree with your take, Beardo.

Not going to lie, I’ve watched Graveyard Shift, but not for awhile. I know it’s BS, but I like Dalen. He’s been entertaining since his Ghost Bros days. I know it’s radio. Dalen is actually a business man. This isn’t his main gig.

What would be the outcome if someone in his family got ahold of this BS and actually took him to court? I know I would in a heartbeat! However, there's certain shit you just don't do!
