    Interesting to hear your thoughts on this subject, anyone that has been watching your channel for a period of time will have expected you to have insecurities about that. The fact is though that you have done well with youtube because of your content and because of your character as a person and you have done well with your candle business because you have put the passion in to it and the hard work, you should be proud of that and worry less about what others think 🙂

    You should feel so good regardless of RUclips! The way I see it, you may get an initial sale from RUclips but that doesn’t mean returning customers. If people don’t like your product, they won’t buy again no matter how nice you are.
    If you get return customers, that means you know what you are doing and they genuinely like your product ❤️ people work hard for their money and they won’t buy a bad product just to be nice.
    It has been fun seeing your business grow! Congratulations, Erica!

    I think it’s fun to see how each business owner gets their start regardless of the order in which things happened. Your journey is your very own unique, awesome journey. Very happy for you :)

    do you have to factor in the amount of dye when figuring out how much material you need to create a candle?

    Hello, this question is off topic. I seen one of your videos where you use cdn wicks. What size for 9oz straight and I think you double wicked 10oz tumbler. Both were cdn but I don’t remember size and can’t find the video. Thank you,
    P.S. Love your videos. I’ve learned so much. Still have a long way to go but I’m trying to

      Hi, we use cdn 2 for our 13.5 cali jars (10 oz candle). For our 9 oz straight sided clear jars we use cdn 4!

    I have a random question, how to keep my packaging costs low while having beautiful frilly packaging?

    • @CHRISMBCC
      @CHRISMBCC 3 месяца назад +1

      We reached out to companies for samples/test boxes and packaging materials. We looked at prices and location for shipping cost. Also, keep in mind when you do find the right fit for you, ordering in bulk can reduce cost!

    • @MemoryBoxCandleCo
      @MemoryBoxCandleCo  3 месяца назад +1

      Yes ordering in bulk and utilizing stickers, crinkle paper and gift boxes can really elevate your packaging! Some people also get custom tissue paper although we haven’t tried that out yet :)
      A lower cost option for nice packaging would be plain colored tissue paper with a nice branded sticker to seal the “present” for your customer!

      @@MemoryBoxCandleCo Okay, I'll do that! Thank you! I'm moving right now into a smallllll studio/1 bed room to cut costs. I'm going to get a PO box as well for my biz address. I will order in bulk as you suggested because I really want to be cute since I know packaging matters to customers as well. But the price that I've been seeing for some of these items (Easter paper grass) has been really, really high.

    The majority of small businesses are not supported by friends and family. You're lucky there. This is a regular complaint I see in groups.

    Hello dear I have a question, are you keeping your little one away from the candle studio? I have a candle business and I am a bit worried that I shouldn't let my LO to be around the studio. What do you think?

    • @CHRISMBCC
      @CHRISMBCC 3 месяца назад +1

      Yes we do! He is mostly interested in crawling after Brody and wanting to know where mom is at all times! Its pretty easy keeping him away from the candle room and all the supplies!

      @@CHRISMBCC I was wondering because sometimes I have to get some stuff done in the studio ( not making candles) but I wasn’t sure if babies/ toddlers are okay to be around such a space
