I bought Oud Wood in 2013 in a 100ml and I’m half way thru it. Sadly, the opening is more alcohol smelling and only shines in the dry down. Still I had to buy a 10ml to be able to layer it or just wear it around. Best of the best when it comes to scents.
Hey, exactly so it is that ! In Dry Down the OW shines! I had the Oud Noir Intense from FdB and it was not as nice as OW in dry-down .. even with real oud oils. Enjoy yours, must be a beast ! : )
Hi. I tried Versace - on my skin it goes to a completely different direction from OW. Now here is a strange thing - Since I had covid19 (2 months ago), my sense of smell changed a bit. Now I find OW cloying. Before I had covid19, OW was nice (I still think TL is a much better fragrance, especially for men), but ever since covid, I don't find OW that attractive anymore. In fact, I now find OW similar to Zino by Davidoff... strange. BTW, there is a fragrance from Dubai - Platinum oud or Golden Oud from Al Haramain- which is way more similar to OW than Versace, and lasts much longer than OW.
Hey Vic, I am glad you recovered from Covid 🙏 OW is having a new scent DNA which is more powerful than before, yes TL is much better, I agree. Will try the others too 😃

Hey my friend, unfortunately every other scent like Oud Wood performs better. I honestly do not understand why has Estee Lauder killed their main cash cow.
My favorite from Tom Ford. Two sprays (one behind each ear) lasts me an entire day. It is quite strong on my skin.

Razvan, Oud Wood from Tom Ford is one of my favorite fragrances. It smells amazing but I agree with you that the performance is below average.

Oud noir has some citrus accords, otherwise it’s quite similar. Oud Noir is very Good bang for the buck.

Hey , Tom Ford is fantastic smell ,ONLY IF IT LASTED . Now what's 100 × better and same smell is THAMEEN CARVED OUD ,
Thameen is a unbelievable fragrance house . IMPERIAL CROWN, AND ROYAL SAPPHIRE , are absolutely stunning. Try them .
Also Thameen is not a dupe house.
Well, they started by copying Oud Wood so for me they are a dupe house. But indeed they also have some own creations 😃
