Cool purchase guys! Two years ago i sent my wife to get an suv for the kids she was supposed to come back with a Nissan Rouge but pulled up in a Porsche. We own a 2015 Cheyenne with the same V6. Very reliable, ZERO issues and drives like a dream. Even the 1st gens are still on the road and gets praise almost 20yrs later!
A ton of people shit on the CVT but at the same time they never ever change the transmission fluid once ever and/or drive them like sports cars which cvts don't like. They don't like sudden torque bursts. But that's not a problem if you don't drive your car is like you hate it. I have tons of friends and family members that buy nissans as mexicans usually like them and they think they're great even though they're really not. But guess what they almost all change their trans fluid every 30 to 40,000 miles. A family member has a Nissan Rogue with a CVT with over 260,000 miles he never goes beyond 50,000 miles in his CVT intervals when I asked him on it. Friend bought their son a used Nissan versa which had no service history on the trans and the trans blew at 112,000 miles, just a few thousand miles after buying it because it didn't have a fluid change. Said the bolt looked untouched. I know a guy who has a 2011 Nissan Altima and had over 334,000 miles on the original engine and CVT at the time and he religiously changes his trans fluid every year and oil every 5-6k which even I consider extreme but you can't say it didn't work. You can't call something junk unless even religious maintenance couldn't save it. It can be finicky it can be sensitive but if good maintenance keeps it alive for a long time it's not junk but if no amount of maintenance in the world could keep it from falling apart then there's your answer.
@@elihernandez330 idc how much you maintenance a cvt they suck bro 🤧period ill never own a cvt transmission ever again you can do maintenance on them often and baby them and they will still break a regular automatic is better and nobody can change my mind on that
The Panamera you just purchased is my dream car. Same options and same color. First time I saw one of them was in 2013 while I was working as a tile installers assistant in the Bay Area. I’ve wanted one since and you got an amazing deal on it. Great pick up!
I love Panamera's, besides the odd styling in the rear... They are attractive and great cars! I learned to get used to the odd rear end styling though so if I bought one it wouldn't be a deal breaker.
@Auto Auction Rebuilds I can’t believe u were so close to my place! I’ve been to that copart yard before. They’re a bit strict but they do have some awesome cars there
100%, this is my favorite video ever of any car, guys! You have definitely hit a grandslam. The content between you both is explosive to watch! It was so fun to observe the interactions between you both! Please be friends forever, guys! My wife is actually watching car stuff with me for the first time! 😊 Thank you, guys!
Love the Panamera you purchased, looking forward to seeing how you go on channel with it! “Go hard, or Go home” …. You certainly went hard on this one, well done mate!!! All the best from Australia 🇦🇺
Hey Randy, I think we need an update vid on all your cars, I can't keep up! Love the Porsche and the LA content. Keep doing what you're doing and stay well!

Man that original owner must've really loved this car that really didn't want to part ways with it and he bought it and fixed it😍 just watching the video gave me goosebumps. My new favorite car I freaking love it
Not a Porsche guy but I really like that. You and Mike need to do a travel channel going across the country picking up cars . Enjoy you two doing these trips lol
25:00 that's the Carpool /HOV line. You can hop on there as long as there are 2+ occupants in the car. EVs can ride there no matter how many occupants in it
I believe this would make a beautiful meet-up situation for your subscribers! This content is GOLD! I've never seen this kind of foolishness before, and I believe everyone will be copying your content soon! 😂 I love it, I'm sure subscibers would pay for the gas and fly out to where the road trip begins to see if they can get it back to where you live just for fun! I'm 100% positive because I would 😂. This is 100% my favorite video you have ever produced for me as an older subscriber. You both should seriously think about joining your content. The vibe is so friendly and nice. I will download this video because of the peaceful ambiance you both gave me while I was watching. Thank you both, I was having a bad 18-hour day, and now the world is back into alignment! Thanks so much, guys!
Except for the long haul? Looks like a great time and a good friend 😊. Plus some nice cars. I love both cars. Hopefully there's a trip back to California. Go see the Pacific Ocean.
I watched this video, and the others in the series green with envy because I had the Porsche on my watchlist and was waiting to save a few $ by waiting for it to go live on the auction 😭but Randy beat me to it. Well, I had fun watching the videos. Big ups to you from Nigeria.
Those tires were take offs and are practically new. You found a great deal. You should thank all those idiots that think they have to have customs wheels and tires on their new cars.
I have a tire guy that gave me near new take offs for as little as 4 for $100 installed. I think the most I paid was $200. There's always someone who wants bigger wheels and tires that you can buy their take offs.
Greetings from Chicago Illinois!! Randy you bought a Porche Panamerica for 13k wow 🤩 it’s a beautiful car and the American muscle car is nice too Mike and Randy the dynamic duo great purchase I watch the hole video.
I watch your videos I could not place the voice for the longest time but it came to me today in this video. You sound exactly like Tom Arnold have you ever heard that before? Like the video 👍😎
Great show guys I love the Panamera you got a great deal on that looking forward to you guys getting more like it and I just subscribed I'm a new subscriber and Mike does look like the Joker when he left especially when you do that side by side comparison
I think you should get the trim pieces, get the motor mounts replaced and put some rims on it, and put a tune on it and put a Borla s type sport exhaust
50:53 honestly the front looks like a dodge neon had a baby with a Mercedes-Benz or dare I say even my old 2015 Hyundai genesis coupe which by the way made 348 hp from its 3.8 L V6. The back end definitely screams Porsche. Either way it’s pretty cool and I think you got a great deal. I really do like monkey wrench Mike by the way
I got a question u said you were getting 10 mpg in the Chevy ..how many times did you stop for fuel what you spend..I'm about to bring a Volks touareg back from Indiana I'm going to drive it back at 1900 miles not doing the math how many times you'd think I'll be refilling ..at 17 mpg
Just heard you say needles was most expensive gas. There are a few gas stations a mile off the hwy that are unbelievably cheaper! I look forward to reaching Needles to buy gas there. I drive x country often and save sooo much money using a gas app. Just an fyi
When I lived there I avoided the freeways like the plague. After I moved to Las Vegas it was about three years before it occurred to me I could use the freeway without sitting still for most of the trip.
I only buy used tires.. Theres some great deals out there for performance rubber.. Few months ago I got a set of 19inch Pirreli PZeros installed for 300 bucks. Couldnt buy one of those tires new for that
Play some wide tires on the back that would make it outlook and I think that makes porch looks good as wide tires they look like I really race car with wide tires
Nice vid. Did you make a cost comparison if you had the cars transported to you? I think you would have saved a lot of money if you have flown in, hire a car, and fly back.
Awesome car!- The glass where the turn signal lights are at the rear, look like they need to be replaced, or cut and polished. They look sun faded, they should be clear.
