Se Thubege direct translates to Break not,
Here the singers tell a long time tale; a plea made by a Tswana Juliet that may what they built(house) break not, and may there Love go beyond eternity
It means Don't break, from Botswana childhood's, mine atleast,we'd go to a play and put wet sand over one foot,since it would be wet,we'd remove the foot and it'd still maintain its shape with the little hole/opening made by the foot,hence we called it a house hence"ntlo ntlo sethubege",so in this context, their love is said to be the little sand house that doesn't break,"even if it rains don't break"
