I like that this is showing what YOU want to do and showing how YOUR RNG and skill led to YOUR outcome. Not every leaguestart video from content creators needs to be a “guide”. This is way more fun to watch as an experienced player.
That was one of the most interesting and unique challenges i got the chance to watch live. Steelmage is one of the best Poe players in my opinion. GG man 🤟
Personal opinion here but - TShot/any long range freeze capable heavy DMG build Shockwave totems Icicle mine Srs Other totem builds (ex. EA) Other mine builds (ex. Hexblast mines)
Anything that plays like SRS does well in sanctum, ie, totem builds. But that's only if you dont have damage to just 1 tap things off screen, especially since in sanctum defenses dont really matter at all so you can totally just build as glass cannon as you want
Weird, Sanctum doesn't need that much damage, definitely less than 100% deli. Do you purely rely on Headhunter or something? In any case TS is a good build. You can always optimise for more damage before you do Sanctum (like running heatshiver and maybe respeccing some life).
TS needs more than 50 div to feel good in sanctums but you definitely can run them. Also if you actually can run legion dunes fast with a build like that, you can farm like 100div in a day and just fix your TS build. Get a mageblood in 3 days and sanctum is a joke. Otherwise, Shockwave totem and SRS are best on that budget. Spark with mageblood is good too.
Is the animate guardian a regular leer cast, dying breath etc dude or something special? How does it interact with the guardians blessing support and the envy+generosity? Does his AG give out some aura?
Guardian's Blessing support links to an aura and a minion, and it allows you to cast the aura for free at a cost of burning the minion's life every second. He uses this on his AG where he can get a lot of regen items to mitigate the burn. Generosity support increases aura effect but disables it for the caster, which is perfect for minions, as the summoner doesn't need damage auras on himself.

the order of the rewards shown. from left to right it's small reward now, medium reward end of floor and big reward at the end of sanctum, if it's a div and end of sanctum it's usually 2

the way to make this challenge work is to do it offstream and not tell anyone your name though thats not really viable for a streamer to give up a day of streaming revenue just to do a youtube video only challenge
Sanctum is a really good strategy, it is really unfortunate that I personally get incredibly bored and I just can't push myself to do more, but for anyone out there farming sanctums right now, I'll pray for you to find a mirror 🙏

its 100% going to get nerfed next league so don't count on it. The amount of divines you can get from the mechanic compared to any other league mechanic is just absurd. It dwarfs it all

The raw divines are awesome but the actual div/hour income is far from the best thing to farm. Heist is still absolutely nuts, and this league I was making 10 - 20 div per hour just running deli maps. Sure harvest got absolutely gutted..but it's still one of (if not) the most powerful mechanic in the game. I am optimistic, but far from out of options if they make sanctum less rewarding. I assume they will just make it so you cant log in and start farming loads of raw divines at level 50, somehow. The only busted part is how fast you can do it so early.
I doubt sanctum goes into next league untouched. The sanctums themself are far too common with a lot coming from tota, so expect them to be much rarer and more expensive next league. They should be priced at like 1-2 divines each tbh, because youre garanteed 2 raw divines every run minimum.
awesome challenge and probably possible on league start but would have to do without all the uniques as they are a lot more expensive day 1-3 compared to now and you probably will still be able to use the early build from campaign with some small upgrades just will take a bit longer. as well as maybe abusing early easy heisting to get some currency going to get some upgrades but this has made me look at poison srs for sure if sanctum doesn't get gutted next league

its not day 1 its like day 40, so who cares? That isnt the point of the challenge The point is that any random noob should be able to make insane OP builds in SC, budget is irrelevant at this point as you can farm 150divines in 24hours. Even if you have 0 mechanical skill, it's super easy to setup a voidsphere build and run TOTA for similar profits.
Cool now do it as a new player has no clue what they are doing and haven't bought 50USD worth of different stash tabs, ow wait most quit by act 5 dont worry XD.

The massive swing in economy completely based on one mechanic. Where that mechnic requires a specialized build thats not good at the majority of the game is just stupid. I have no interst in sanctum or a sanctum farming build, but yet i HAVE to do it if i want to afford "budget builds" being 2.5 times more expensive. Making a special mechanic that requires a completely niche build print divine orbs just cockblocks everyone that wanted to play anything else top to bottom. Low end crafting becomes way less valuable so you need more currency to even gamble toward decent sellable crafts. Every other rare resource becomes more expensive making basic farming strategy harder to get into without lucky drops. Ive literally seen people get more divines out of one sanctum than ive had drop the entire league farming juiced maps. Theres no reason one mechanic thats gated by specialized build requirements should be the only way to keep up in the economy.
There are plenty of mechanics that warrant same currency or close as sanctum(tota , heist , boss rushing - this one is the easiest and anyone can do and plenty more ) the only "advantage" sanctum has is low entry cost since tomes are 10-15c and there is not much trading involved . Wen it comes to the build i don't agree since i have farmed sanctum this league with boneshatter jugg which is probably one of the worst builds for Sanctum just fine without reveal relics just using relics i dropped , i famed enough currency like this to get a mageblood in 3 days .
Heist is printing money with zero investment, essences are printing money, rog is printing money. Anything that you will commit yourself to is printing money. ALSO you can run early heist / sanctum get like 2 div and make starter build with that. Legion is printing divine orbs from war hoards so that's too.

Man Sanctum looks like it's really good for quick profit, too bad I absolutely suck at dodging and have yet to ever finish a sanctum.
Go traps, evasion, ghost dance trickster. Can abuse trap spamming to stay away from mobs and get used to patterns.

What other builds work well for sanctum? I can run 100% deli dune legions with my 50div(3 arrow tats) TS, but sanctum needs more single target dps
