I love what she said about music as a way of promoting inclusion and transcending boundaries. I would like to take it a step further though. As a music teacher, I strongly believe in incorporating music from various world traditions into the Music curriculum, not focusing mostly on European classical and coral music or even just on American popular music. The world of music is so extensive.
