So true. My sister died tragically and my parents took in her kitties. Her gray kitty became attached to my mom. Then 6 months after my mom lost my sister , she broke her ankle and was bed ridden for 6 months. He slept on her ankle every night. 😢 they are inseparable now 3 years later. I believe he missed my sister and also knew my mom needed a lot of healing too.

She is truly relaxed now even though she went through a hard time. The cat has become her family with preening. Her interactions with the other animals has helped her get over the electric shock and her family dumping her. It's a good thing that you guys were there
@tina kapoor You're right electric fences are bad but they serve a purpose in certain areas. They generally have a warning fence in front of them which is not electrified. Nonetheless, where they may zap cattle it would traumatize a baby monkey: Especially since the baby monkey's tribe just left it.
@tina kapoor It's hard for me to say because I wouldn't any animal hurt; however, during some storms cattle and horses will break fences just because of thunder and that's why they put it up. Those animals are their lives, their jobs, the way they feed their families. I could no more stop them then I could someone who makes wasabi in Japan, grapes for wine making in Italy or kill foxes in Siberia for coats. I don't think it's right but this is how their families are fed. I do my best to mount my battles against killing dogs for dog meat, bear-coyote-bobcat traps, wire traps to catch snakes, clubbing seals and a host of other inhumane torture devices used on animals.

I always prefer the "small" guy versus some big corporation. If I knew the Dodo was initially set up by a huge conglomerate, and was being run by wall street, then I would agree and leave.
I prefer ( until I learn anything else) to believe that that Dodo has been on RUclips for a long time. They became successful. They put out very Great videos( just as many others do). It cannot be a One or Two man, mom and Pop operation anymore of course. They must employ numerous people with work and income. Can I really fault that????? They are generally focused on heartwarming "Rescue" type videos. They don't focus on the entertaining or humorous( so much). If their videos cause others around the world to try and save animals from pain, abuse, suffering, and evil, so their efforts get viewed and seen, then I say.....THAT IS A GREAT THING. They can put up their logo( The Dodo) all they want in my opinion.

This means that ideas and techniques for gathering food usually remain with one group, and if that group is killed off, that idea dies with them. Our ancestors became advanced because of their ability to travel freely, meet others, and exchange ideas and information. They began developing tools that lessened the need to maintain as much body mass which, along with the discovery of meat as a food source, combined to allow a reduction in bodily muscle mass and an increase in nutrients being available for the brain, thus allowing it to become more complex.

Many times I think my cat thinks he’s a monkey the way he climbs all over everything so it makes sense to me a monkey and a cat could be friends
