I have had a lot of LDS friends over the years, in my travels as a Navy Wife. They were not at all like the LDS people in this saga. They were all still married to their first husbands, kept beautiful homes, made jam and quilts, played the piano, did a lot of community charity work with their churches, made their children behave in public, took in other peoples' children who were at risk, laughed a lot, respected their husbands, but were The Law in their homes. They loved God, and worked hard. They were not perfect, but they were really good people.
I joined the LDS church when my husband's dementia started to get worse. I needed more God in my life. I have never met more caring and loving group of people. We were both raised Catholic yet there was no one on one relationships. We found where we needed to be. Friends were very optimistic about our newly found church because of this Vallow/Daybell mess. Never noticed anything odd or reason to be cautious. Two totally different entities.
Like any religion there always seems to be some people who use religion as a means to practice bad things. I have known some good LDS people as well

This defense attorney is a total clown. Every time he starts to cross I cringe with secondhand embarrassment for him.
She met chad and tried to erase her past under the guise of a "religion". There is family that would have gladly taken the children for her....she thinks she looks young with her "baby" ponytail on top, gross.
She couldn't have the family take the children, she couldn' t have gotten the SS and state support. She could keep the farce going of having children while they were dead, and get their government money AND get her "god". What a piece.

If you listen extremely carefully…you can hear whispering between a man and a woman. I can’t tell who is speaking but I did catch a part of the woman stating something, “but she’s or he’s dead.” It sounded like the defense attorney whispering back, but that’s only because the whisper was raspy which sounded similar to that of the defense attorney. Idk seems odd that the conversation is coming through.
