Hi Ria! There's no such thing as a silly question! You may have to change the water if you use an artificial flower because the color may run. Be sure to test out your flower choice before hand. XOXO MissPlanIt
Hi Shyguy! We did not add any solvent to the water. We used an artifical flower that is treated to be submerged. This treated flower's color dye will not bleed into the water. I hope this helps! XOXO MissPlanIt
